Tovarich: Another subpar performance. Outside shots were brutal. Luckily the big guys were all pretty dominant, at scoring anyway. Rebounding left something to be desired as usual. Without that barrage of turnovers in the 2nd half there, that might have been a different outcome.
Reporter: What was the defensive plan in the 2nd half?
Tovarich: Just double team anyone who looks like they can shoot a 3. They finally cooled off late, but they were already 6/12 at halftime and then came out and made their first three after halftime too. I couldn't watch any more of it, so we doubled every guard and we got a few turnovers there off the deflections, and that allowed us to have 11 extra shots in the game, which was a big difference
Reporter: You seemed irritated with the refs.
Tovarich: A 10-1 foul disparity is irritating for anyone.
Reporter: 25 days until Selection Sunday and you have just one game coming up in a week and a half. What do you work on during all this down time?
Tovarich: I've got a lot of recruiting visits to make. We don't have the best history in these Senior Day home games to end the season, so hopefully we do better in the actual game, even if it has no meaning beyond it being for the Seniors.
*I can't see how to respond to the comments, it doesn't seem possible, but I just noticed the America East is the "Metro Atlantic" which bumps the America East schools for small to mid. I'm usually careful not to do that during my conference planning, but I apparently missed that one.
