I have had this game for a while (HC 09). PLEASE HELP!! Is default the best sliders? nd improve through coaching? Or a modified set? I'm desperate to start a dynaasty and post up here!!!

I'm pretty sure the defult is not the best sliders. Here are something u might want to change
1. Pass blocking: The pass blocking is too good for any pressure to be generated. I suggest somewhere between 25 and 35.
2. WR catching: sometimes WR makes impossible catches. I suggest u put it down around 35.
3. RB ability: The RBs are very weak with the defult sliders. I have mine at 90, but u might want to go a bit lower or higher, go test it out in game and see.
4. Run Blocking: With the defult sliders it sucks. I suggest anywhere between 60 and 67.
5. QB accrucy: Many people put it down the 20s and low 30s. But I fould that too low and put mine at 45, again, it depends on your liking.Go test it out.
As for the defensive sliders, I use adembroski's sliders. I bumped up interception to 45 though, because the DBs have been droping easy INTs.

One more thing is the kickoff power, the defult is too high, I suggest somewhere around 25 to 35.

As for the penalty sliders, look at adembroski for the basics, and adjust to your liking.

Hope this will help. If the silders don't work well for u, change it up, everyone's game is a bit different. I'm looking foward for your dynasty.

Oh, and u should also decrease the field goal sliders a bit, and boost the punt power up.

The coaching makes the players perform better, but their performance is based on the sliders. So I think sliders have nothing to do with coaching.

Yep. I didnt know what they were until I had been playing the game for a while...so I just left them alone.

After getting them to know the playbook...yes. I average 40+ yards per punt. My RBs dont do too bad...once they are healthy. I try to make sure my punter is 95+ in KP as well.

cool. i love this game so much, but i have been stuck between defaultor adjusted sliders. default, crappy players light u up, but adjusting, seems that the cpu passing always finds somone over the middle no matter what coverage

I always use default sliders, but I do like to adjust the Punt power and accuarcy to at least somewhere around 80-90, because of my punts only average around 30-40 yards alot oof times and that is okay, but when u are kicking with 20 mph winds to ur back that is unacceptable...

Once players learn ur playbook and start to devlop in certain areas, then usally with the right calls being called then they do pretty good overall... But, that is just my opinion, u are welcome to try out the many different slider varations, which are all located at the top in the head coach forum...

Can't wait to read ur dynasty when u get it going...
