BJ Sams and Mike Rumph have been removed from the Lions and Sean McHugh will be one of the players that is cut from the Lions next week. The Lions now have 4 corners on their depth chart and still have 4 tight ends, but will have three at the end of the week.

The Lions went 0 and 16 in the 2008-2009 under Rod Marinelli. Former Michigan offensive line coach John Freehan got a job offer to head coach the Lions after the 2007-2008 season and took the job. Now Freehan will replace Marinelli and try to build a winner in Detroit.
