Jonathan Hancock: A Football Life (Nick Saban in the NFL)
Hey guys, Jonathan Hancock here. After a delay caused by computer problems, I've decided that I will pick back up, posting in the dynasty forum. This is a continuation of my NFL Head Coach 09 career which I had in the NFL Head Coach forum. I'll be posting more about it soon. Thanks everybody.Last edited by jshrolltide; 06-13-2013, 10:46 AM.Tags: None -
Re: Jonathan Hancock: A Football Life (Nick Saban in the NFL)
i been following your career since this afternoon. can't wait to see more from you. do you play every game or just some? when I first got the game I played them all but after a while I started simming because I loved doing the offseason more, also have you tried the steelers smashmouth playbook? I always thought about going with college attack but wasn't sure if it would be a good fit for meComment

Thanks! And I feel the same way you do. I care a lot more about roster building. I love the offseason. I don't have time to play all of the games, because I stay busy a lot, so when I get to play, I sim most of the games, playing a few here and there. I do go week by week though, rather than the whole season at once so that I still know what's going on with the team and have total control over them. I played most of the games early on, but it got to taking too long.
An update on posting: I haven't played any more on this career yet, because I still can't post very well (this is coming from my phone), because my new computer still hasn't come in yet... I'll be gone for just over a week, but hopefully when I get back ill have my new laptop! One thing is certain, as soon as it comes in I'll be resuming this career. Thanks for following everyone!Comment

Sorry JLENNELJ, I meant to answer you in the last one. I'm not sure which one I picked, I'll have to look when I get back to this career. I'm sure it's something similar to what he is in real life though, if you're familiar with Saban.Comment

same here, playing the game just takes too long for me i'm always busy so siming is best way for me to play the game. do you have a favorite draft path? mines is either English or ozzie jones path for different reasons. if u ever get the ozzie path make sure you get donay smith and chief sanders (chief is like ray lewis) u'll be set for your career with him as your MLB/ILB... I noticed that with the steelers playbook no matter who my offensive linemen are i'm always in the top 5 or 10 in rushing yrds, rushing TD'S, and least sacks given up.Comment

Re: Jonathan Hancock: A Football Life (Nick Saban in the NFL)
Hey guys, just got back from vacation. There was a delay at HP, so I STILL do not have my new computer, so I haven't resumed this career yet... I should get it next week, so hopefully by the second week in July (my birthday!) I can get back to this career.
My favorite path is zazzali. That's the one I'm on in this career. I do like the Ozzie path. I know the player mods are trippy, but there are lots of fun players on there, and Alabama is really good in that path, so that's a bonus. Roll tide y'all.Comment

I actually did in this career! He's done awesome for me so far, well worth the high pick. I plan on keeping him for the whole career.Comment

I think that I had traded down with the Panthers and they earned the #1 pick, so I kindof got lucky.Comment
