It's fun to build something out of nothing, esp because a lot of those pieces will be crap I won't want to re-sign... you're right, I might not make it past year one! I'm sure I'll end up doing both... the expansion one will take a lot more commitment, esp as I have to strategize more, play the preseason, etc... which will no doubt be fun - I dunno... I have all day at work tomorrow to figure it out. I'm thinking I'll start with the Browns and get them rolling before I start up a second one, then a Raiders one some day (month!) But the expansion is appealing because it hasn't been done. I set a few dry runs in the past to see if I could do it, but never went any further. We'll see...

Got Cleveland up to the regular season game one, an inevitable whipping by the Cowboys. Tomorrow I'll set up the expansion team and see which has me more excited for week one - then play and post. Gotta get up at 5 tomorrow, so no more HC tonight.

So, I started up a few dynasties, but you know, I just have to do one with my Raiders... I want to get one up that "goes the distance".

I had started this one with Art Shell I loved, but I stopped posting it back then as life got in the way. So, I'm back to it, updated/reworked some posts while get my new "old" dynasty ready and started over...

Preseason is almost over, game one after work tomorrow!

Sorry to hear that. My PS3 died about 3 weeks ago and i'm struggling with head coach withdrawals.

Hey PS3 users - did the PS have something like the red ring of death? Never knew the truth on how reliable they truly were. Like impartially, not an "us vs them" mentality.

Just curious 'cause I'm getting ready to get the next console, and it's a factor to me.

Anyhow, about an hour and I'll get started... I get too many ideas... I enjoy starting them and getting them set up, then I get another idea and want to do that one, and so on. I promise I'll settle on one and get it started today.

I really love this game, it's a shame we'll probably never see another. If only they could have taken parts of 06 and 09 and made one more...

No red ring of death, but they don't last forever, not like the original PS1 or even a PS2.I may look into repair rather than get a new one again.

As for the PS4, I'd be more eager to get one if it had backward compatability.I'd like to be able to play games like DAO or Head Coach on a better system.
