    rebuilding the dolphins

I love rebuilding teams and this year i chose to rebuild the dolphins back into a winner i went (6-9) with them in year 1 and now it is time for the draft, i was able to trade some high priced players on my team and get some more draft picks that also cleared up alot of cap space. but my question is to you is...

Which Player should i take with the 2nd overall pick in the first round?
    Matt Leinhart--USC
    Brad Smith--Missouri
    Reggie McNeal--Texas A&M
    Omar Jacobs--Bowling Green
or go with a different position

just wanted to get your input.

Being a Dolphins fan and suffering through terrible quarterback play since the retirement of Marino, Leinhart is a no brainer. Then rebulid their terrible offensive line.

With a suspect offensive line I would go with McNeal, his scrambling ability will come in handy.

I would agree with wxyz. While leinhart is almost a sure thing. I love Mcneal's upside. It never hurts to have mobile QB in the NFL. But I don't think that you can go wrong with either QB you choose.

I say take Leinart, you said you cleared some cap and you should be more than able to patch the line through free agency and the draft.

The horrible part of trying to do this is that they give Saban like a 40 rating in everything........making it very hard to sim with much success.....plus thye have his real salary so your paying a fortune for a horribly rated coach......almost have to get rid of him.

well i am about to start my draft and i narrowed down to McNeal and Leinhart still not sure which to take i guess it depends on what the raiders take at #1

I'm sure the Raiders will be taking a QB.

I would go with what you like when you're playing the game. Do you prefer being able to take off for yards if nobody is open. Or are you a pocket passer? I'd personally take a QB with speed over a sitting duck.

raiders took Omar Jacobs with the #1 pick and i took Reggie McNeal. Matt Leinhart fell to the #5 pick and he went to the Cowboys. other picks of note in the 1st round. 49ers took DeAngelo Williams, and the Patriots took A.J. Hawk, who i had my eye on for a second round pick. damn pats!! also the broncos took reggie bush.

if anybody is interested here is my draft picks with there ratings after i signed them:

                        QB-Reggie McNeal--83--Texas A&M
                        SS-Darnell Bing--84--USC
                        ROLB-Pierre Woods--78--Michigan
                        WR-Derek Hagan--78--Arizona St
                        FS-Jaxson Appel--80--Texas A&M
                        WR-Jarrett Hicks--76--Texas Tech
                        MLB-Kevin Simon--67--Tennessee
                        CB--Darrell Hunter--76--Miami(OH)
                        LT-Jami Hightower--75--Texas A&M
LT-Albert Toeaine--76 (gonna turn him or hightower into a RT)--Tennessee

i notice i took a lot of Big 12 players, that might be because i was able to scout them better since in my NCAA dynasty i played with Texas so i was scouting while playing. I should also note that in my first season in NCAA Jarret Hicks was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. but of course being from Texas it might just be the system.

i also signed LaVarr Arrington and Dante Hall, those are the most notable FA signings.

No stud O Lineman? Good luck with the running game (poor Ronnie and Ricky). Of course, Pierre Woods was a nice pick - I'm bias.

the top 3 qb's that were drafted and there ratings:
                              Omar Jacobs--85
                              Reggie NcNeal--83
                              Matt Leinhart--86

ok maybe i should have taken leinhart but mcneal is also younger so that is what finally sold me on him.
