After starting hot in the 1st quarter, leading Philadelphia 24-12, the Suns went on a cold streak in the second quarter, scoring only 8 points. They went into the locker room down 8, let the deficit slip to as much as 13, and could not come back. Vince Carter dropped 20 points for the Suns and Udonis Haslem added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Sixers were led by Elton Brand, who had 18 points and 7 rebounds.
