Re: Chicago Bulls Dynasty 2k6 (ps2)

alright I just played the mavericks so here is an overview:

Dallas at Chicago: Final Score 95-111

    Notable Stats:

    Hinrich: 30 pts, 7 assists, 4 steals, 11-18 FG, 8-8 FT
    Gordon: 15 pts, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 4-9 shooting

    Nowitzki: 18 pts, 9 rebounds, 6-19 FG

review: The game started off very close in the 1st quarter, but in the 2nd I started to run away with my bench players, as I took a double digit lead at halftime. The rest of the game I never looked back and breezed to a victory with Hinrich leading the way with 30 pts.

I did a fabolous job shutting down Nowitzki with both Nocioni and Deng. Dallas kept running the same play to him at the top of the key, but I managed to play tough defense and force him to throw up bricks. He eventually fouled out because I kept attacking dallas in the post. My post game this season has been unbelievable, as most of my pts have come from there.

During the game Deng got injured while attempting to drive to the basket, but he returned later to play towards the end of the game. It definitely didn't prevent me from winning as I used my players efficiently.

    Thing to improve:

    - lower the turnovers! I had 17 turnovers in this game compared to 10 for dallas. I keep turning it over a lot, but have managed to post a 11-5 record and a 6 game win streak.

    - improve 3 point %. I have a hard time making three's

    - Shoot more mid-range jumpers. I rely too much on the post game, but I have been winning. I do want to add variety to my game, and mid-range jumpers will help.

    - lower opposing team's offensive rebounds; I keep getting outrebounded on the offensive boards.

    - improve fast break; I tend to throw the ball away on fast breaks.

final words: I feel satisfied with 2k6 and I find that I am quickly getting better and better, both at offense and defense. If I keep blowing away good teams, I may have to up the difficulty level and/or find different sliders.
