    EWR Diary: NWA TNA

Since i play this game atleast 4 hours or so a day to kill time and probably an hour or 2 more every day while im stuck at school i figured i'd give this a shot. I started out with TNA circa when they still did weekly ppvs and have been playing from 10/2005 to 5/2006 in game terms. TNA has ascended to 1a or 1b and up until my last show i had a 5 week run of having the higher rated program. ROH folded a few months ago after I took CM Punk, The Rottweilers, Colt Cabana, Alexis Laree, Doug Williams, Samoa Joe, Chris Daniels, and most of their talent and signed them to written contracts. TNA has 2 TV shows 1 on Monday nights prime time on Fox named Impact! (presumably in place of 24) and 1 on Thursday nights prime time also on Fox named TNA Bom-Ba-Ye, Mike Tenay and Shane Douglas are the announcers. Both shows are currently hovering around 6.00 in the ratings. Also Jarrett is retiring at the end of this month which is only a few weeks away and thats wonderful news as he didnt like being buried and jobbed to Alexis Laree constantly (Which worked to help get rid of Sting, AMW, Buff Bagwell, and Justin Credible). I also run 12 PPV cards a year obviously

January- AJ Styles and His Incredible Friends
    February- Secret of Our Success
    March- Jason Takes Orlando
    April- National Lampoon Presents:
May- Live NUDES! (not really just wrestling)
    June- Nightmare on Stage 21
    July- Battle of Orlando
    August- All-Star Skills Competition
    September- Deca***** (Like Octo***** ha.)
October- TNA: Season of The Witch
    November- Tryptophantasy Land
    December- Uncanny X-Mas

    Feuds
AJ Styles vs Taiyo Kea for the NWA title which has a 73 over (just started

Samoa Joe vs Christopher Daniels (81 over and about to have the climax)

Alexis Laree vs Trinity (76 over and its alittle one sided)

Havana Pitbulls (Rickey Reyes and Rocky Romero) vs the Second City Saints (CM Punk and Colt Cabana) (73 over)

    Stables
3 Live Krew- BG James, Konnan, Ron Killings (NOT USED)

British Bulldogs- Doug Williams, Harry Smith, Jody Fleisch

Rottweilers- Low Ki, Homicide, Ricky Reyes, Rocky Romero, B-Boy, Jay Lethal, and Xavier

Second City Saints- Alexis Laree, CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Ace Steel, Joey Matthews (Mercury on SD)

Triple X- Christopher Daniels, Elix Skipper, Carlito

    Champions
    NWA World- AJ Styles (4/30)
    NWA X- Samoa Joe (3/16)
    NWA Womens- Alexis Laree (4/10)
NWA Tag Team- Second City Saints team of Punk and Cabana (since 4/17)

Important members of the TNA roster
    AJ Styles
    Samoa Joe
    Low Ki
    Colt Cabana
    CM Punk
    Ricky Reyes
    Rocky Romero
    Alexis Laree
    British Bulldog Harry Smith
    Doug Williams
    Taiyo Kea
    Spanky
    Raven
    Paul London
    D'Lo Brown
    Psicosis
    Homicide
    Jay Lethal
And the newest addition to the TNA roster: CHRISTIAN (joining us at the end of his WWE contract in 3 months)
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

      Re: EWR Diary: NWA TNA

      TNA Bom-Ba-Ye for May 11th 2006

Taiyo Kea challenges AJ Styles to begin their feud which AJ quickly comes out and accepts

Alexis Laree beats Trinity via Laree DDT in a good **1/2 star match

Britsh Bulldog Harry Smith upsets Spanky via Corkscrew DDT in a 3 star match 66% overall, 69% reaction, 79% match quality

Erik Watts announces that AJ Styles will face Taiyo Kea tonight in the main event the announcement got 79% rating

Havana Pitbulls draw with Punk/Cabana with a double DQ in a 4 STAR match 77% overall, 80% crowd reaction, 92% match quality

Christopher Daniels cut a promo on Samoa Joe furthering their feud and got an 87% overall

Samoa Joe squashed Elix Skipper in a match that died on the table and got 2 1/2 stars (because of Skipper) and the only purpose was to further the feud with Daniels as he tried to run in and attack joe to no avail 58%, 55%, 75%

Taiyo Kea beats AJ Styles in a NON-TITLE 4 Star match via a low blow and roll up and the show goes off the air with AJ and Kea brawling in the ring and continuing back stage. 76%, 79%, 91%

      OVERALL RATING: 72
Personal Opinion: Great show got all the feuds over and had two 4 star contests, one 3 star match, and two 2 1/2 star matches

      TV Rating: 6.02 (WWE's 2nd TV show WWE Sunday got a 5.17)

Other TNA News: We're dropping deadweight thankfully with New Jack, Sandman, and Athena all quitting the promotion. Rickey Reyes has requested to be moved up from Mid-Carder to Upper Mid-Carder and his request has been granted. TNA has also entered contract negotiations with free agent Juventud Guerrera and hope to have him signed in a few weeks, his current asking price is 52,000 per appearance but i'll attempt to sign him to a written deal as they're cheaper in the long run

TNA is also trying to sign this star for our next Ultimate X match

        Re: EWR Diary: NWA TNA

More TNA news: NWA TNA has come to terms with one of the best tag teams in all of Lucha Libre, Mexico's Most Wanted. Halloween signed a 2 year contract with 27,000 per month while his partner Damien 666 signed for 1 year for 50,000 per month. TNA continued the Lucha trend by bringing in the real chairman, La Parka to a 2 year 64,000 p/m contract. TNA has also signed one of the biggest legends in the history of wrestling, Roddy Piper to be the new authority figure on Impact! and Bom-Ba-Ye. Unfortunately due to these new improvements some of our talent have to be let go. TNA has released Sean Waltman, Erik Watts, and Slash

                        Re: EWR Diary: NWA TNA

Sounds like you've done a very good job.

Any tips on how to keep the money coming in before I start?

Get good sponsers, try to bring in money hand over fist on merchandise, and the most important part is try to sign everyone to a written contract. If its an open contract your paying a guy 30,000.00 per appearance but if its written you'll probably end up paying him somewhere around 40,000.00 a month. Also important is to keep an eye on the Japanese promotions tour dates if you have guys working for them, i've occasionally forgotten about it and been burned when i didnt have a major star available for a big ppv and dont try to beat the WWE right away it took me several months to get it close enough to where on any given week i can win the ratings battle.
