Skins Defense Handles Titans
The Washington Redskins improved to 10-3 on the year by defeating the Tenessee Titans 30-17 in week 14. The defense played great, only allowing 213 total yards offense for the Titans. On offense, C. Portis led the way again with 163 yards rushing.

Skins Hold on vs the Saints
The Washington Redskins improved to (11-3) 3rd in the NFC by defeating the New Orleans Saints 34-31. The Skins had to overcome 2 fumbles returned for touchdowns along with stopping a last minute drive by the Saints to seal the victory. The Skins were led by their offense who got off to a slow start but found its rhythm as the game progressed. S. Moss had a huge day with 8 catches for 210 yards and 2 touchdowns (80 and 46)

Panthers Down Redskins
The Washington Redskins(11-4) couldnt overcome 3 turnovers on offense nor could they stop the Panthers running game that put up 217 total yards in losing to the Carolina Panthers 24-17. The Skins had a 10-0 lead at halftime and saw that lead dissappear by the end of the 3rd period.


Taylors 14 tackles werent enough, Panthers prevail 24-17.

Taylor's Quest for a 100 Tackle Season Ends Early

Sean Taylor(the only player I control on defense) came into week 17 with 89 tackles for the season, he was on a mission to get 100 tackles this season after finishing with 69 last season. His quest for 100 ended early vs the Giants. He pulled his groin early in the 1st quarter after an interception that was called back because of pass interference. He was out the entire game but the Skins did prevail to get the win.

Portis Runs Past Giants

Clinton Portis and the Washington Redskins won their 12th game of the season, defeating the NY Giants, 34-31 in the final week of the season. The Skins head to Tampa to take on the Bucs in a NFC Wildcard game. Portis finished the game with 4 touchdowns and he rushed for 175 yards.
