    Coach Jason Bowens lost opener 64-53 to Indiana State. Team missed alot of shots. Team should be ready for their home opener against Toledo.

    Coach Bowens has a tough road ahead lost to Toledo (66-38), St. Francis PA (61-44), Buffalo (57-46) defeated Duquesne on the road 54-49 Landon Bozeman had 26pts. 5Reb and 5 steals in the win.

    The Penguins losing ways return MO-Kansas City 58-41, Niagra 52-30 but the team came together to win the conference opener on the road 54-53 against Loyola (ILL) David Palmer had 22pts. 8reb.

    Next for the Peguins (2-6) Oakland Union College on the road

      Haven't posted anything in a while. Coach Bowens finish first season as YSU coach at 7-18 (6-10). YSU lost to Cleveland State 61-56 in the first round of the Horizon League Tournament. Wright State won the Horizon League Tournament. Loyola (ill)/Wisc-GreenBay Horizon League Regular season Co-champions

      Season Highlights
      #50 C Soph. Landon Bozeman received Sega Sports Award and 1st team All America and Horizon League. Avg. 21 pts and 7 Reb per game.

      #34 PF Jr. David Palmer received 3rd Team Horizon League. Avg. 10pts and 5 Reb a game.

        Coach Bowens has his 2003-04 Penguins 4-4 (1-0). Next game is at home against N. Arizona 5-4 ESPN coverage. Next Conf game is at home against Cleveland St.

          YOUNGSTOWN STATE ENTERS FIELD OF 64

          The Penguins def. Ill-Chicago Flames 46-43 in the Horizon League Championship Game. PF Sr. David Palmer was player of the game with 12 points 7Reb. While Jr. C Landon Bozeman capture tournament MVP honors. Youngstown State loss to The Flames the 2 times they met during the regular season.

          #15 seed Youngstown State is now 16-11 and will face #2 Seed Michigan State in the first round of the West Bracket.
