I'm 3-11 in my 1st year at Indiana State(Career Legacy)

I commit about 20 turnovers per game and i'm worst in the conference in scoring. What should i do?

1.Give up and start a career leagacy with Florida A&M or Portland.
    2.Make a lineup change?
3.Not give up cause it already a bad team and by next season i'll be good anyway...
4.Switch from All-American back to all conference until i master it at AC.

    feedback would be greatly appreciated

    thanks

try juggling your line-up, style of play etc...it doesnt matter as much how you do the first season because it takes three seasons to get an offer so if youre doing well next season it'll make up for that poor first season. focus on the recruiting part of the season finding players that can help fill weaknesses (for example a good point guard-floor general type if available or offensive threats etc)...you can find quality players that are 2 and 3 stars...at Long Island i recruited quality players out of brooklyn (local) and did great.

theres always the conference tourney where you can make a run and get the automatic bid also. thats whats great about college bball.

This would be my advice either that or start over. Because I'm Georgia Southern and I went 19-7 with default rosters on AA and I won my conference tourney. Then I went to the NCAA's and smashed #1 seed Florida. My D is nasty and that's why I blew FLA up. I haven't played my second round game yet it's against #9 seed Virginia. But I think for me playing online has made me a much better player and therefore the computer doesn't scare me as much.

What I try to do on offense is run plays where most of my guys are near the paint. It doesn't always work so sometimes I have to just take my fastest player have someone set a pick and then slide down into the hole and hit the triangle button to go into the dunk/lay-up animation.

On D I like to use a guard and I'll stay back a foot or two off of the point guard or shooting guard depending on who has the ball and I'll kind of dance from side to side in between whichever guys look like they are wide open so that when they throw the ball I jump quickly in the direction of the ball. Does this stuff help you at all?

since its you first season then the roster for scrimmage/practice mode would be the same. i would take some time and practice running the sets you use. be able to run sets are a huge part of being successful. especially on the higher levels

Thanks guys.UMD before i play i always go to scrimmage and practice with good teams like Duke and UNC.I always ge the plays running well with the good teams. When i take Indiana State during my games it's near impossible. The are some plays that work extremly well for me like "reverse th floor" and "perimeter offense."But most of them my players are having trouble finding open shots..

Slowing down the game pace even if you are built to be a high tempo, jump shooting team will help. Getting the ball into the post as you work it around will force the defense to change up some, and allow a few good shots. Also less time the CPU has the ball.. less points for them.

Then if the other team starts to go on a run (they always do) do not get flustered and try to get the ball up the court quick.. it will probably be an intercepted pass and they will just keep adding to the run.

Damn it i'm 4-14 now and i'm about to lose against SMS.I played well vs creighton but lost at the end cause i had to really force shots. My team sucks really badly. We average 16 turnovers pergame and 63.1 points per game.Last in the conference. Thanks god for the conference tourneys. If we play well me might be able to surprise some peeps.

My offense is STILL staggering but i've found other good plays to use.what i like about this game is that even if you run your plays perfectly you have to have the talent to execute them well.

Man you're Indiana State, you SHOULD suck. Don't switch down to AC, just play harder to win, pick up your D, and do what you can on O. If you were a good team on All-American, you'd do well, you're SUPPOSED to suck with Indiana State. Seems to me people want realistic games, but want to win the championship easily...does that make sense? You should suck with Indiana State, and maybe with a few decent recruits and already exisitng players improving, you will be better next year.

The team has a starting 5 that contains 4 players with an overall rating of 80 or more.I do kinda like the fact that i'm struggling cause when i'll be able to turn around that program it will be rewarding.
