The running game is going to be off the wall this season for the Horned Frogs. Their starting rusher is a 91 Overall, and their backup is an 89. Their backup's backup is a Sophomore who is rated an 83 overall.

Defensively they are pretty decent. If anything plays a factor with them getting far, its that they have a pretty strong built schedule. If they can pull off some wins (upsets), than they could be easily headed for a bowl game.

Up 21-3 at half-time, TCU looked to take it easy, using a mass subsitution during most parts of the 3rd Quarter, and most of the 4th.

Only 5 pass attempts were thrown for TCU, and 4 of 5 were completed for 85 yards. 35 rushing attempts made the running game the key gameplan.

Starter Robert Merrill rushed for 97 yards on 12 attempts (8.1 ypc), and backup Lonta Hobbs rushed for 48 yards on 17 attempts (2.8 ypc). Sophomore Aaron Brown, who is the starting return man for TCU, got to make 4 rushes for 14 yards (3.5 ypc). Hobbs scored 2 touchdowns, and Merrill scored 1.

It was a rainy game, and so Merrill and Hobbs committed a combined 7 fumbles, 2 of which were repossessed.

Player of the game was Safety David Roach who came up with 2 interceptions, and made 2 tackles.

Boise State was down early, but with a decent steady push towards the half, they recouped from the deficit, and on the last play of the half in Tulsa's possession, Tulsa looked to complete a pass that was picked off by Boise State's Cornerback Orlando Scandrick and returned for a Touchdown while the clock was in a state of expiration.

However, the offensive juices stop flowing through the entire 2nd half. Scoreless throughout the whole 3rd and 4th Quarter, Tulsa was able to put 8 points up on the board en route to a win.

Player of the game was Tight End Garrett Mills who made plenty of catches in the deep right zone of the field, racking up 117 yards.
