    ncaa2k3 career mode story

First of all, I didn't play any of this, I simulated all the games.

I started with Farleigh-Dickinson. First two years I went 15-13 and then 12-16, no conf tourney wins. They said I needed to step it up if I wanted to keep my job, so what did I do? I brought in a 4 star PG, starting as a true freshman. I change my coaching style from conservative, defense, and fundamentals to offense, outside game, flash, and star focus. The Farleigh Dickinson Knights won their first 15 games, and ended the year 24-4, winning the conf tourney and then getting snubbed by the NCAA tourney. My goal for next year was "to win more games that last year" haha that's almost impossible I thought.

Not quite. I bring in some good big men and finish the next season 23-5. Getting a 12 seed in the NCAA tourney, I lost easily in the first round. Still no job offers.

The next year brought in a stud SF and went 25-3 getting a bid to the NCAAs but again losing in the first round. This time, Auburn comes calling, so I accept.

First year at Auburn, I went 16-13, a winning record, but the fans and alumni were not impressed. They threaten to tar and feather me unless I win 60% of my games. I bring in a 5 star PG.

The next year, Auburn starts of 12-3 and ends with a record of 21-7 ( I think, it's close to that), however Auburn gets snubbed by the NCAAs.

Next season is a sad story, I won about half my games and my star PG left early for the NBA that ******* he wasn't worth a first round pick, yet. Anyway, next year I bring in an awesome recruiting class of 4 stars C, SF, and PG.

I finish my 4th season at Auburn 23-4, get a bid to NCAAs and promptly lose in the first round. The athletic department is kissing my feet. Until I finish 11-16 the next season. Totally disregarding what I have done for the program they fire me. Bastards.

Luckily, UTEP wants me. I accept. I bring in some 4 stars, which was mostly a big stroke of luck, and after 3 years I have built the program into a powerhouse. (Can ya tell I'm speeding up the story?)

Washington and Nebraska take notice and want me to coach. I take Washington, which was the biggest mistake of my life. I should've stayed at UTEP because I had brought in some awesome players. Anyway, at Washington, I had 2 winning seasons in 5 years, never reached the NCAAs, and only won 2 conf tourney games. The PAC-10 schedule was brutal, and so was their athletic department. Despite slowly turning the program around (highlighted by a 21-9 season and a 2nd place finish in the PAC-10), they let me go. I didn't save it and totally started a new dynasty in place of it. I am now the Canisius Golden Griffins in the first year.
