"Dylan" I called "Why do they gotta ruin this business with stupid storylines and bad wrestling?"

I just got through with college, and yes I had the money. I didn't have all the brains though and that's what I needed. Thankfully Dylan (Sidle) was here to help. I went through him with all my ideas, we have been friends since I don't know when. Everytime I thought about quitting Dylan was there with helpful information. Well this time, he suggested I quit. I had been working for Mid Atlantic Wrestling, and while I was getting my job done (and **** well, at that) I wasn't happy. Dylan told me to leave.

"Do it... We can start our own. You have to be one of the best play-by-play guys I know. I have the know how to run the business and actually understand the matches. You have the money for the most part."

And with that... The future of professional wrestling as we know it is about to have it's landscape changed.

Combat Pro Wrestling Presents Violent Beginnings
Held at the Ohio Jewish Center in front of 61 fans

"Ladies and Gentleman... WELCOME... To the first show of the revolution. We here at Combat Pro Wrestling (The crowd makes the biggest noise possible for the 61 people in attendance) Would like to welcome you to Violent Beginnings. Tonight you will see tournaments for the Women's Tag Team Titles, and the World Heavyweight Title." Jay-D then walks to take his spot at the commentator's table (E).

"The first action of the night will have us see Mikey James take on Frankie Dee."

Mikey James vs. Frankie Dee

These 2 workers put on a decent show for an opening match. It was fairly open until Mikey James was able to reverse a powerbomb into a hurricanrana, then putting the Jameslock on a downed Frankie Dee making him submit at the 9:17 mark (D-).

"What a match, and now we have the opening match for the CPW Women's Tag Tournament."

The Neptune Twins Vs. Tokyo's Finest (w/ Insane Machine)

Tokyo's Finest went on the offensive and the crowd got behind the Neptune twins, wanting the pair to get on top of the match. Nene Ebina let this get the best of her, and The Neptune Twins got the DQ win when Ebina hit Jen Neptune with a chair at 9:44 (E-).

"Now for the start to the Men's Heavyweight Tournament!!!"

Black Eagle vs. Jeremy Jazz

The match was not the best but Black Eagle prevailed by hitting the New Jersey Turnpike on Jazz, scoring the pinfall in 8:46 (D-).

w/ vs.
Wild Times (w/ Karen Killer) vs. Lilly & Rose

The second semi-final match of the Women's Tag Team Title tournament was a bit better than the first. Wild Times happened to get the edge, and after getting booed by the crowd Vixxen hit the Fall of Reason on Kate Lilly to pick up a pinfall victory in 12:08 (E).

Frankie Perez Vs. Marc Speed

Quite possibly a match of the year candidate from the first show of the year (always a plus). Marc Speed was a technical wizard in this match, but that didn't do enough for him as Frankie Perez pulled out a submission win after locking on the P-Clutch in 15:39 (C+).

w/ vs.
Wild Times (w/ Karen Killer) vs. The Neptune Twins

CPW Women's Tag Team Titles

The final match in the Women's Tag Title tournament. A good match saw Wild Times take the lead. The crowd got beind the Neptune twins and they were on the comeback when Karen Killer prover her usefulness. After distracting Jen Neptune, Devil's Daughter snuck up behind her and hit the Kiss of the Widow to make Jen submit in 14:38. Wild Times wins the Women's Tag Belts and go down in the books as the first champs (F+).

Frankie Perez vs. Black Eagle

CPW World Heavyweight Title

Frankie Perez dominated the first half of the match. Black Eagle happened to slip out of the way when P-Dawg went for a top rope elbow drop. After that he got his second wind and took the offensive. The crowd cheered for Frankie and he responded by nailing Black Eagle with the Perfect Parity, picking up the pinfall victory in 23:03 to become the first CPW World Heavyweight Champion.

"What a show ladies and gents. Y'all better find your way back to these seats next show (flyers will be put out)." Jay-D closes the show by saying (E).

"****. Looks like my choices this month didnt do much for us. At least you 18 have great matches to look forward to. Anyways let's get to the first match. After their tagteam match last week, I am told (through interpreter Insane Machine) that Nene Ebina blamed Ginko Kuroda for the loss and has requested to fight her." Jay-D walks to the announcers table looking visibly shaken at the lack of a turnout.

Ginko Kuroda (Insane Machine) vs. Nene Ebina

This match wasn't horrible but it wasn't special. It's hard to have a match between 2 foreign workers when there isn't a crowd to even applaud spots. The women did a good job at giving it their best, but when Ebina botched a moonsault from the top rope her head collided with Ginko's. This led to a double knockout finish in 12:37 (E+).

"Up next we have the beginning of the CPW Womens Championship Title Tournament. The first match has us seeing Canadian Psycho Cherry Bomb take on petite Paige Croft."

Cherry Bomb vs. Paige Croft

Cherry Bomb proved that she is a front runner for that women's belt by literally tossing Paige Croft around the ring. She seemed intent on inflicting injury, finally picking up a pinfall in 12:04 after hitting a Cherry Bomb showing her dominance (E).

"And now for the other tournament to start -- The CPW World Tag Team Titles!!!" Jay-D says, not fully recovered.

Double Dragon vs. Phenomenal Excess

This was a very entertaining match showing why these two are in the running for the title. Double Dragon ended up pulling out an upset as UK Dragon hit a Dragon Drop on Phenomenal E to pick up a pinfall victory in 12:06 (D-).

Agent 69 vs. April Appleseed

We see Agent 69 coming down to the ring spouting Russian taunts at nobody in general. April Appleseed comes down yelling "HOOOOO" (reminiscent of "Hacksaw" Jim D). Throughout the match the two seem to be locked in a mind game, but Agent 69 picked up the 1-2-3 count in 10:08 after a good match (D).

The Animals vs. The Heartbreakers

The next match in the tag team tournament sees another masked pair taking on the heel faction of the Heartbreakers. This was a short match as the Heartbreakers took the offensive on Fox Mask, but after making the tag, Masked Cougar took his agression out on Raphael finally hitting him with a High Rise Cougar Pounce finishing the match in 8:53 (D).

"Agent 69... Comrade... You and I are not so much different. Wait wait, I take that back. You and I could be alike if you had ANY SEMBLENCE OF WRESTLING SKILL IN YOUR BODY. Call in the KGB, The CIA, The FBI. NOTHING will separate us in this fight, but NOTHING will stop me from tossing your limp body from ringpost to ringpost" Cherry Bomb taunts Agent 69 (E+).

CPW Women's Championship Title

The Women's title tournament final wasn't the best match, but it was far from bad. The two traded offensive assaults until the puro style of Cherry Bomb took over allowing her to hit 3 Cherry Bombs straight, picking up the victory AND the CPW Women's Championship in the time of 15:05 (D-).

The Animals vs. Double Dragon

CPW World Tag Team Titles

Double Dragon and The Animals bring up the rear of the card putting on a show for the small crowd that showed up. Double Dragon took the offensive, taunting the crowd and The Animals. After booing as loud as the 16 people left can boo the Animals started the comeback. Out of nowhere, UK Dragon pulled out a Dragon Drop And pinned Masked Cougar using the ropes for leverage during the pin in 22:17. The ref did not see that, and DOUBLE DRAGON is the first CPW World Tag Team Champions (D).

"I know you guys didn't expect that much of a show, but TELL YOUR Friends. We will be back next month, and the show will be that much better (D-).
