To be honest, I kind of feel like dropping the Madden half of this dynasty since progression just seems so off that I'll never field a solid team. I shouldn't have a defensive end have his ratings drop from an 82-80 over the course of seasons involving 8 sacks, 8 sacks, than 11 sacks, especially so early on in his career.

*Notes: QB Kris Wilson was benched his senior year due to previous years interception problem in favor of Soph(RS) Aaron Wright. WR Garrett Jones is a former recruit that for some odd reason I moved to TE and forgot to move back to receiver the year before this. Kind of funny that the speed receiver (Garrett Jones at 99) played more like a possession receiver than the actual possesion receiver John Colvin.

Re: The Career of Nigel Bolden: Double Life
The first recruiting last when I had that 6-6 season is what really put me over when it came to time to make that push to the Pac-10. Also, that loss to Oregon is what cost me the Pac-10 the last season.Comment

*Notes: Thank you Auburn, you stopped the Notre Dame 3-peat. Much love to UCLA for beating USC 20-17 and stopping a repeat of what happened last season when I lost the championship to Oregon. Really going to miss SS Greg Curtis. This guy was a 2* ATH that started at MLB but ended up as a 2 time all-american SS rated 98 OVR by his senior season. He truly is my best recruit ever. *wipes away tear* I do have a promising freshman filling in for him though.

*Notes: Best season by a SJSU QB came from one of the worst rated (about 86-88 OVR compared to the previous two 90+ ovr starters. Oregon can thank us once again for their 2nd Pac-10 title in 3 years -_-'. Must say I was worried about the season after losing the opening 2 but the team jelled nicely in the end. Also, the USC game was kind of funny. We were up 21-20, USC scores and goes for and converts to go up 28-20. For whatever reason the CPU decided not to take the Trojans to OT and converted the 2-point conversion for the 29-28 win. Also, Auburn wins 2nd straight nationl championship. Wake Forest would also finish 14-0.Last edited by Cyros; 02-11-2007, 08:32 AM.Comment

*Notes: To say I'm a little bit ticked off would be an understatement. I was sitting at #3 in the polls and BCS (had been #2 till LSU moved up) and here I am looking at a possible national championship game. LSU loses, so a win secures me a spot in the game no question. Alas, we end up losing in overtime to an underachieving Cal team (A ratings all across the board). Can't say it was a bad season though, considering this wasn't one of the best teams I've fielded according to the ratings (last year for one was better). My goal now is to keep everyone from bolting for the pros and take advantage of my max prestige rating in recruiting. Speaking of recruiting, in-season went extremely well as I got all 5 recruits I originally targeted. Really nice since I notoriously have problems keeping the interest of TEs and DEs.Comment

I guess the A+ prestige and California finally paid off. Of note, 2 years in a row I have the #1 prospect out of California. I also think I've dipped into Pennsylvania either the past 3 years now or 2/3 years.Comment
