Mumford in as new Head Coach

Greensboro, NC - The North Carolina A&T Aggies ushered in a new era for their basketball program by hiring Coach A.Mumford to be their head basketball coach. Coach Mumford admittedly doesn't have much head coaching experience but his infectious personality mesmerized the Aggies' big wigs enough to give him an opportunity to be their head coach...bold move. As a student of the game Coach Mumford patterns the way he handles his team and game preparation by his mentor Coach Mike Krzyzewski of Duke. Who better to emulate than a such a successful guy as Coach K?

Thanks! My kids are playing well for me right now and we only trail Mizzou by 2. I like that in the 360 you can turn auto playcalling on because, to me, having the pg run the offense is more realistic than me calling plays all the time.

              Tale of Two Halves

Greensboro, NC - The Aggies went on the road to face the heavily favored Missouri Tigers in Coach Mumford's first action as head coach. His kids gave him everything they had in the first half playing their way to a 37-34 halftime lead. Sean Booker was a man among boys scoring 12 points in the first frame shooting 6/8 from the field.

The Missouri Coach must've given his team a severe tounge lashing at halftime because they played like a college all-star after the break. They went up by 2 at 46-44 and never looked back as they cruised to the 16 point win, 89-73

              Player of the Game
              C #44 (Mizzou) - 18 pts, 14 reb, 1 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk

              NC A&T Aggies
              Sean Booker - 15 pts, 2 reb, 5 ast, 1 stl
              Jason Wills - 11 pts, 17 reb, 1 ast, 2 stl
              Steven Rush - 12 pts, 2 reb, 11 ast, 2 stl

              Missouri Tigers
              PF #5 - 17 pts, 6 reb, 6 ast, 7 stl
              SF #25 - 4 pts, 4 reb, 6 ast, 1 stl

              Record: 0-1

                Roberts Nursing Knee

Greensboro, NC - SF Greg Roberts is expected to suit up for the Aggies' game at Stetson despite nursing his sore knee but Coach Mumford has opted to give Demetrius Guions the start for the contest. Guions is coming off of a 15 pt performance against Missouri in which he was the Aggies' co-leading scorer.

Aggies play hard but fall short in OT

                  Code:
                  [center]
                                   Aggies Hatters
                  FG Percentage 0.437 0.516
                  3 Pointers 11/30 4/18
                  Rebounds 29 36
                  Assists 23 18
                  Turnovers 9 10[/center]
Greensboro, NC - In a game that pitted two evenly matched teams on paper, the live action played out that way for 34 minutes. In OT however, it was all Hatters as Stetson made bucket after bucket en route to a 9 point win over Coach Mumford's Aggies, 86-77.

                  NC A&T Aggies
                  Demetrius Guions - 23 pts, 1 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl
                  Jason Wills - 11 pts, 17 reb, 1 ast, 3 stl, 1 blk
                  Steven Rush - 15 pts, 1 reb, 9 ast, 2 stl

                  Stetson Hatters
                  SG #31 - 20 pts, 1 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk
                  PF #35 - 17 pts, 15 reb, 3 ast, 4 stl

I rented NCAA 07 from gamefly. They shipped it Monday so I'm hoping it arrives today. I'd love to play coach mode but neither NCAA nor Madden offers this. If I can learn to play QB effectively then I will definitely keep NCAA and start a "QB Mode" dynasty. I just don't have the rosters. Maybe I'll break down and purchase a transfer kit but the memory unit is so expensive.

From other people on this board it seems you should be able to get a pretty affordable one from Ebay.

I'm so glad that SJSU didn't can me like they did you lol.
