New Era of WWE (TEW 07)

    McMahon Names New Lead Booker

In a surprising chain of events this morning, Vince McMahon demoted all three of his brands’ lead writers, and named Tim Smith the lead booker of all three WWE brands.

The move is shocking because it was thought that having each brand have it’s own booker worked out well, instead of putting all the stress put on one person. On top of that, little is known about Tim Smith, who has no past experience in the business that anyone is aware of.

Needless to say, the locker room is shook up over this move. It should be interesting to see what transpires over the next few weeks as the WWE heads into the peak of it’s year.

OOC2: ubernoob, could you tell me where you host the pics? I'd appreciate it

Week 1, February 2007 Raw Preview

          Tag Team or Bitter Rivals
John Cena and Shawn Michaels worked as a well-oiled machine last week on Raw when they defeated Rated RKO for the World Tag Team Titles. However, after the match, it looked as if Shawn was going to start the post-match celebration with some Sweet Chin Music on The Champ. Can these two work cohesively as a team or will the Heart Break Kid’s quest to become WWE Champion get in the way?

          Rated RKOver?
For the third straight week Rated RKO finished Raw on a not-so-positive note after losing the tag titles to Cena and Michaels. With the tag titles no longer there to keep these two united, will these two egomaniacs still be able to co-exist when their minds are both on individual goals?

          Deadman Still Undecided
The Undertaker made surprise appearances at all three brands this past week, obviously playing mindgames with all three champs’ heads. With Wrestlemania drawing near, will the Deadman make his decision known as to who he wants to face at Wrestlemania?

          MNM’s Final Hurrah
It was announced over the weekend on wwe.com that Melina and Johnny Nitro were being traded to Smackdown, but before the trade took place, both had already signed to championship matches on Raw. Johnny Nitro will battle Jeff Hardy in a final attempt to regain his Intercontinental Championship, and Melina will take on Mickie James for the Women’s Championship. Will MNM leave Raw on top and take the gold with them?

Find out all the answers to these questions this Monday on Raw!

                More Roster Shake-Ups

This morning, WWE.com once again updated their roster pages. The biggest change was CM Punk moving from the ECW brand to Smackdown. Punk was seen as the future of ECW at one time, but with his recent de-push on that show combined with Smackdown's lack of midcard faces, it makes sense for them to switch him over. Having him on the same brand as Chris Benoit, William Regal, Finlay, and James Gibson(Jamie Noble) should make for some intriguing match-ups.

Also, both Eugene and Simon Dean were removed from the roster pages altogether. It's unknown at this time if they were released or not.

OOC: Thanks guys for the comments. I'm not really interested in having any custom graphics, I like the ones that you're using...but I figured out how you have them uploaded now, so if you don't mind, I'd like to use them Also, I hope to have Raw up sometime this weekend, but I'm kinda busy Saturday and Sunday there's the Super Bowl, so it may get pushed back to Monday...
