      Blackhawks shake things up

After scoring only 11 goals in their first seven games, the Chicago Blackhawks decided to try to make their team a bit more offensive.

Chicago made two trades before their game against the Colorado Avalanche on Friday. They traded Jim Fahey and a second round pick to Phoenix for Nick Boynton. Boynton, who has five assists in six games this year, will give the Blackhawks a legitimate point threat on the powerplay. Then, they moved top defense prospect David Richmond and Kevyn Adams to Tampa Bay for Vaclav Prospal. It is likely that Propsal will by with Martin Havlat, as they have played together on the Czech national team previous to this. Both players flew to Toronto and will dress on Saturday against the Maple Leafs.

As well, the Hawks are reportedly in talks with Peter Bondra, who played for Chicago last year, and Kristian Kuusela, who is a free agent from the SM-Liga.

Finally, Chicago has decided to shake up their lines, including putting two top rookies, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane, on the same line. They now look as follows:

      Prospal-Lang-Havlat
      Samsonov-Ruutu-Lapointe
      Toews-Perreault-Kane
      Bourque-Williams-Sharp

      Boynton-Keith
      Johansson-Barker
      Seabrook-Vandermeer

Works pretty well...I wish I could find a way to get the visitor's score on the same line as the team name, but its not bad.

And I just figured it out. Yay me.
Thanks for the link, how did you get the visiting teams score to line up with the team name?

          NFL: New Orleans Saints

You have to edit it yourself...if you go through the html on OS (not on LD), you'll see there's a line break for some reason.

Also, I've been twiddling with some sliders for a couple days, and I've found some sliders that produce good results on five minute periods. So I'm using them. Allows me to get more games in.

Note: Magnus Johansson was injured with a broken finger. He will not return for at least a month, and Andrei Zyuzin has been dressed to replace him. Martin Havlat is progressing nicely through rehab and he should be back for the Hawks game against St. Louis in a few days.
