Re: Back in '82: The "Uncle" Rico Dynamite Story
Our journey begins in rural Preston, Idaho, where a career backup high school QB has caught the eye of the college scouts in the Idaho High School State Football Playoffs. Rico Dynamite was forced into action in the last week of the HS football season when Preston's starting QB went down with an ACL injury. Rico stepped in and brought Preston back from a 21-7 deficit in the 4th quarter to win 24-21, and move on to the state playoffs.
Over the coming weeks and months, we will document this young QB's journey to lead Preston to the State Championship, and move on to the collegiate ranks, and maybe someday, the pros.
Preston will take on Rexburg at home in round 1. Results coming soon. -
