    Minnesota Timberwolves [Live 2003]

After numerous first round exits in the playoffs, the Minnesota Timberwolves are anxiously awaiting their chance for a championship. The TWolves management, as well as players, think that this could very well be the year that everything goes right for them. Here is the starting lineup that will, hopefully, lead this squad of talented individuals to a very eventful and winning season..

PG: Troy Hudson -- Very young and quick on his feet, with excellent scoring ability for a point guard. Can also put up huge numbers in the assists column.
SG: Wally Szczerbiak -- Perhaps on his way out of Minny, Wally is still a great talent. Probably cares too much about his stats rather than the team's performance, he is still an above average player. Excellent scoring ability, but isn't exactly the quickest player on the team.
SF: Kevin Garnett -- The franchise player that will be relied on heavily during the course of the brutal NBA season. Can do it all, score, D up opposing players, and pull down massive amounts of rebounds. Look for an MVP type season out of KG..
PF: Joe Smith -- A good role player that, at times, can both put up good numbers in points and grab rebounds with passion. Not an All Star, but definately a piece of the team that they cant do without.
C: Marc Jackson -- Also a very good rebounder, will give the Timberwolves a good inside presence. Can score, but is mainly just a big body to fill the middle and pull boards.

    First Game..
    Nuggets (0-0) @ Minnesota (0-0)

The Minnesota Timberwolves opened the new NBA season against perhaps one of the weaker teams in the league, the Denver Nuggets. This game was not expected to be a great challenge for the TWolves, but every true fan knows no game is a given..
Minnesota, as earlier stated, did not take this team lightly. They wanted to show the rest of the league what they could do, and did pretty well.
Not much of a challenge, the TWolves won this boring game, 101-95.

    Player of the Game
    Kevin Garnett -- 27 Points, 11 Rebounds, 5 Assists

    Minnesota Stats:
    Szczerbiak -- 20 Points, 3 Assists
    Hudson -- 13 Points, 8 Assists, 5 Rebounds

    Denver Stats:
    Savovic -- 24 Points, 4 Steals
    Jackson -- 22 Points, 7 Assists

After the Nuggets poor shooting night, officials made sure there wasnt a lid on the basket..

    Next Game . .
    Magic (1-1) @ Minnesota (1-0)

Coming off of the easy victory against Denver, the Timberwolves were looking to prove themselves against a more formidable opponent, the Orlando Magic. The specators got what they came for, a thriller till the end. TMac and KG exchanged blows all game, helping their teams in numerious ways.
In the end, though, the Magic resulted to fouling, giving the Timberwolves the easy victory, 113-103.

I like the use of team logos and pictures of the Player of the games...nice touch. Where is Rasho? Why is he behind Jackson??

Rasho is coming off the bench behind Jackson, because I prefer Jackson's rebounding and scoring to Rasho's..
But trust me, he is getting his minutes..

The Minnesota Timberwolves visited Indiana to take on Reggie Miller and the Pacers, looking to carry on their winning ways..
The whole game was dominated by the Twolves, as it seemed they were taking no mercy upon the Pacers. Garnett and crew looked to have their third win of the young season, but in the fourth quarter, the Indiana Pacers mounted a comeback.
Reggie Miller looked to be taking the game over in scoring and assists, dominated every Minnesota player that attempted to guard. In the end, the Pacers made a three, where the TWolves were unable to answer. The Pacers took the game, 94-93.

                        Nice journal so far...

I'm lovin' the effort and time you're putting into this, as far as the pictures and stuff.

Hope to see your T'Wolves do well.

Oh yeah, If you trade Wally (please do) make sure you get somebody who isn't nearly as selfish as he is.

                        Keep it up...
