          Season Preview

The Wizards organization thinks it's their time to shine. They think they are ready and in reality, they should be. They have one of the most potent scoring teams in the league. They can match up with anybody. They have unlimited range from just about every position. They are led by one of the most potent guards in the league scoring wise. Gilbert Arenas aka Agent 0. Arenas can hit you in any direction. Caron Butler is a fantastic forward who proves he can shoot and is only going to get better. Antawn Jamison is probably one of the most underrated players in the NBA. He has the size to play the position and can grab a number of rebounds, along with the ability to hit the outside shot, what a force. Nick Young a rookie, should provide a lot more youth then this team already has. The only problem with the team should be the bench and defense. The bench seems to need a spark so DeShawn Stevenson was moved to be their primary 6th man. As the Wizards were able to keep majority of their 06-07 playoff run roster, who some how made a presence without Gilbert Arenas and Caron Butler, due to Antawn Jamison. The Wizards may trade some people for extra bench help which wouldn't surprise. But this team can be deadly. They are looking for only their 2nd NBA Championship, as their last one coming in 77-78. They made the playoffs the last 3 years but have not been able to go anywhere the last 2. Washington Wizards' fans, it's time.

              Questions Boggling The Wizards

The Wizards have 3 big tasks this year. 1 is going deep into the playoffs. 2 and 3 are re-signing Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison. Agent 0 will be entering his 5th year with the Wizards and hopes to extend his career and end it with a Wizard. Jamison is now entering his 4th season, the longest he has ever been with a team. "I'd like to hope that, we can work out a deal and that I can stay a Wizard, I truly want to end my career here in Washington," said Arenas. We have yet to speak with either agents for Arenas or Jamison. No comment was received from Jamison other then, "I'm just worrying about this year, right now and winning."

Eddie Jordan said, "I want to keep them both, I hope we are able to do that, as they are fine athletes and huge assets to our organization." We will definitely have to continue to monitor these 2 players status and see if they are happy.

Wizards Escape Boston With a Win
                  No KG for Celts

                  | 16 | 22 | 20 | 30 | 88

                  Recap:

It looked like it was going to be a blowout with the newly formed Celtic without Kevin Garnett. Though they still had Paul Pierce and Ray Allen to do their dirty work, Ray Allen left the game in the 1st quarter with an apparent ankle injury but returned in the 3rd to provide a marvelous spark to the Celtics in the 2nd half of the game scoring 25 points. Paul Pierce was on fire as he did basically everything he could be asked to do including scoring a game high 34. But it wasn't enough as Agent 0 was the high man for the Wizards as he led the team with 30 points. The team looked really good until the 4th quarter where they were outscored 30-18. They couldn't nail any shots, including ones inside the paint. But it was the clutch free throws by Arenas to keep the lead over the Celtics. If the Celtics had KG it may have been a loss for the Wizards.

Thanks. I hope so do, so far they are good, they seem that they will be able to hold up all season, I may need to tweak maybe a few points here and there as the season goes on but that's all.
