    The Return Of The Dawgs

Ok,In this thread I'm going to chronicle the return to prominance(Hopefully!)of the once mighty Cleveland Browns.I tend to employ a smashmouth style of play on offense with a defense geared toward stopping the big play and forcing teams into mistakes.Goals for the first season are to play my young players and evaluate what I actually have.Looking at the player ratings tells me that the defense is very weak but the offense has some very good young talent. My first preseason game is at home vs. Kansas City.

In an effort to get younger and stronger along the defensive line the Browns traded DE Orpheus Roy to Chicago for a 4th round pick in the 2008 draft. The Browns also signed 2 free agents, DE Courtney Brown the former overall #1 pick was signed to a 2 year deal worth 2.76 million dollars. The Browns also signed former Eagle DT Sam Rayburn to a 3 year deal worth 7.46 million.
