North Carolina is chock full of talent this year, but one team looks to overlook the rest, Duke. With super-frosh Kyle Singler, and other additions like DeMarcus Nelson. The Dukies come into the season in the first Men's College Basketball Power Rankings. The score from there first game, is coming up next.
BREAKING NEWS: Kyle Singler's papers filed to attend Duke were reportedly invalid. Duke will lose their super-frosh, as he will now attend Ohio State. This cannot be good.
Today, Duke won its first game. The Dukies, however, played terrible. PG #03 led the charge with 14 points, and 4 assists.
Nebraska could've won if SG# 31 made a buzzer beater. but in the end, the Dukies go to overtime, 23-23, and score a whoppping 22 points opposed to Nebraska's 10.
So, tonights fiinal score, is...Duke 45...Nebraska...33.
Next upthe Southern Illinois Salukis against the Dukies. Duke drops its Ranking to 25, after hanging by a thin thread against Nebraska. However, Duke are a predicted winner by at least 20.
At the half, the Devils expressed their anger about their slipping position on USI, as they lead 21-6 at the half. Duke may not even score 40 points in this game however!
But, in the end, Duke won by 24, 42 to 18. The player of the game was...PG #03 again, with 18 pts. and 4 steals.
