I wanted to take a team that had some problems and try to put them back together and make them a title contender in the coming years. Because of this I'm not going to be updating this a lot, I'll just fill you in on important games and important league news. Basically just the essentials. Hope you enjoy.

Nets Withhold Carter's Minutes...
In a strange attempt to trade Vince Carter the team has recently cut his minutes to 0. Carter is not expected to see much more action this season, if he continues to waive his no trade clause in the Nets recent actions to move Carter he will certainly see quiet a few "DNP--Coaches Decision" next to his name in the box score. Though the box score should probably read "DNP--Executive Decision" as coach Lawrence Frank wasn't happy to be hearing what he had to do.
"I don't feel in control of my own team," Frank said. "Whatever they think is going to help the franchise in the long run is what we will do though."

Carter dumped after minutes were cut
In a move that everybody saw coming the New Jersey Nets traded guard Vince Carter to the Charlotte Bobcats for Jason Richardson and a first round draft pick.
Richardson is what appears to be a younger version of what the Nets were giving up in Carter. Both are high fliers and can dunk with the best in the world. This is the second time that Richardson has moved in as many seasons. He signed as a free agent in Charlotte last season. Richardson is expected to see some new players coming in from other teams around the league as the Nets have put up Jason Kidd and Richard Jefferson on the trading block. Big moves are in store for this New Jersey team with their assortment of picks they seem to be collecting.
