GJEM’s Tulane Green Wave: Riding the Wave to Success

INTRODUCTION: This is an NCAA 08 Dynasty on Xbox 360 and I will be using the Tulane Green Wave.

    GAME PLAY:
    - Updates: I will update this as much as I can throughout the week, obviously it always depends on how much time I have to update as well as play.

    - Recruiting: I will start off allowing myself to recruit only two 5*/4* players a year, I will add one to that after every year ex. after 2007 (2), 2008 (3), 2009 (4) ect. they also must be interested in me as well as in my pipeline states. This is the same philosophy I used in my Wyoming dynasty to keep it competitive and it worked very well.

    - Rosters: dkrause1971

    - Red Shirting: I don't really mess with this so I'm assuming I don't red shirt players.

    - Scheduling: NO 1AA Schools after the 2007 season.

    HOUSE RULES:

    - Recruiting: Discussed earlier.

    - Play Calling: I let Corso call all my offensive and defensive plays. I don't always use his first suggestion but I always use his set of plays except when the CPU has timeouts left and he won't call kneel downs.

    - Controlling Players: I play offense ex. QB, HB, WR, ect. But I only control one player on D and only make the tackle if the plays right in front of me. Most of the time I just watch.

    - Kicking: Since field goals are practically automatic I wait until there's less than 10 seconds left on the 25 second clock then I will call the play it limits my ability to sit there and point the arrow in the perfect spot. It is especially tricky when I'm on the left or right hash mark or more than 30 yards or closer than 15 yards.

    SLIDERS:
    All-American, 8 Minute quarters
    User / CPU
    • QBA 40 / 50
    • PB 80 / 50
    • WRC 0 / 0
    • RBA 40 / 60
    • RB 45 / 90
    • AWR 10 / 30
    • KNDWS 85 / 15
    • INT 0 / 0
    • BB 20 / 30
    • TKL 40 / 55
    • FGP 5 / 10
    • FGA 0 / 50
    • PP 20 / 40
    • PA 20 / 60
    • KOL 40 / 60
I think every things been covered so if you have any further questions feel free to ask me either by PM or just post it in this thread.

You have outdone yourself GJEM with that format. It looks better than your Wyoming one (which looked pretty damn good too).

Thanks, I always try to raise the bar a little higher every time I overhaul my formats by making it more informative as well as visually appealing to audience. I also tend to tweak my formats from time to time as many of you have seen my evolution of dynasty write-ups because it keeps my level of interest high with the many flaws the game has with in game atmosphere.

Yeah I know it's complete garbage I should probably take some pride in it and make it a little more visually appealing.

You should really run with forte more. He was a stud last year.

                          Also I love the layout.

Yeah I really want to get the run game going and I've tried but Forte for some reason just isn't doing it for me, like I reported in the last write up I'm going to give Tuyo a shot against LSU he has been better for me this year when he subs in and I'm going to see what he can do as a starter I hung with Forte for 3 games waiting for him to break out but he hasn't. Much of the problem is my O-Line but still I need to be able to run to control drives and work the clock and I haven't been able to do that yet it's been all on Elliot's shoulders and that's going to lead to problems down the road.
