I would probably look to him if you were looking at the future and not in a "win now" attitude. If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in english, thank a soldier.Comment

Story:Tampa Bay was looking to rebound after Monday's tough loss as they tried to tie the series up with Baltimore. But their garbage offense did not seem to want to play at all. After another frustrating game at the plate for Tampa Bay, General Manager Marino is seriously wondering how long he can hold out before making lineup changes. At this rate his PS3 controller will be broken before the end of April. But man Daniel Cabrera was dealing for Baltimore. He would pound the outside corners with his fastballs and strike batters out with an amazing slider that went untouched the whole night. Matt Garza also pitched wonderfully but this was Cabrera's night. Baltimore got on the board in the 3rd after Luis Hernandez scored Adam Jones, who led off the 3rd with a triple that hit the big scoreboard in right. The O's did not score again until the 8th. Luke Scott got an RBI, his 5th of the year, and Willie Aybar acted like a moron at 3rd base allowing Scott to score on the next hit. Tamp tried to rally behind homers from Upton and Floyd but it was to late.
Scoring Summary:
Bottom 3:RBI groundout by Luis Hernandez
Bottom 8:RBI triple by Luke Scott
Bottom 8:Scott scores on error by Aybar
Top 9:Solo Homerun by B.J. Upton; HR(1)

Player Of The Game:

Next Game:
Tampa Bay finishes their series with Baltimore with hopes of not getting swept. First pitch is at 7:30 and Edwin Jackson is on the hill. Hopefully TB can finally get a win.
League News:

New York Mets:

Manager Meeting:
The message was simple...we need to go out there and starting showing the firepower our offense has. The squirrel is unhappy...and if the squirrel becomes even more unhappy then well as you can see, changes will be made.Comment

Pitching Matchup:
Edwin Jackson (0-0)
vs.
Adam Loewen (0-0)
Story:
Tampa Bay was trying everything in their power to prevent the sweep. But Kevin "Idiot" Millar and the god awful bullpen were the main reasons Baltimore is leaving this series with the brooms out. I felt like it was going to be a good game because early on I was able to hit everything solid. Pena had RBI hits in the 3rd and 7th and Dioneer Navarro hit a 2 run homerun in the 4th. But Edwin Jackson seemed to have a fetish with hanging 2 strike pitches to Kevin Millar so I never could pull away. Then in the 6th, of course Luke Scott had to join the party. I mean he seems to hit everything the crappy pitchers threw. But as mentioned earlier Pena re tied the game with the RBI single in the 7th. But then the evil mastermind himself, Gary Glover entered the game with bad intentions. I could see it in his eyes. They were telling me, how will I blow this game just to see you get mad? Well he found the right recipe as he so kindly decided to hang a curveball to Nick "bleepin" Markakis. But I did have my shot in the 9th. I got Iwamura to 3rd with one out. But of course with my luck Pena crushes the ball....right to Huff who throws home and Aki is toast. And even better news for Tampa, New York is next.
Player Of The Game:
Nick Markakis 2-4 HR(1)
Scoring Summary:
Bottom 2:Solo HR by Millar(1)
Top 3:RBI double by Pena
Top 4:2 run HR by Navarro(1)
Bottom 5:2 run HR by Millar(2)
Bottom 6:RBI single by Scott
Top 7: RBI single by Pena
Bottom 8:Solo HR by Markakis(1)

Scott 2-4 RBI
Tampa Bay:

Navarro 2-4 HR 2RBI
League News:
PIT- Jack Wilson sent to DL, Brian Bixler called up from AAA Indianapolis
ATL- Mike Hampton sent to DL, Jo Jo Reyes called up from AAA Richmond.
Up Next for Tampa Bay:
Tampa takes their horrible acts on the road to the Bronx in hopes that they can get a win. Andy Sonnanstine will get the nod in Friday's game which will begin at 7:30. New York will have Ian Kennedy get his first start of the year.

Re: Taking the Devil out of Tampa; A Rays Franchise.
Just be careful when you do it though. Every out is a challenge in this game. I beaned a guy in my first week and ended up giving up 4 runs after 2 outs in the inning. Make sure you do it when you are down or up big.Highheat's O's Franchise
