Maybe, he dosen't gelp you becasue your a giants fan jkjkjk. But I greatly appreciate his help, he can always find great images.

But already, I hope the Pirates sell at the deadline, becasue I'm using real-life transactions, I want to get McCutchen in CF, Pearce in RF, and move McLouth to LF!

Some of those goals look very attainable, especially the .230 batting average and the 3 pitchers with 10+ wins in the same season.

I'm old enough to have seen on TV the Pirates playing at Forbes Field back in the late '60s and 1970.

The Pirates are also my #2 favorite team in MLB.

            Good luck with the Bucs.

Re: Pittsburgh Pirates - Stealing the Show

I've sat and thought about this all day, today and, I've decided that I'm not going to do CPU Roster Control, so of course my Contract Goals will change, but I will try to get them the same. Also, the Spring Training standings and league leaders will change, so be on the lookout for those updates!

One more thing here's a very good video of the Buccos!

X-Man Saves the Day for the Buccos!!!!!!

The Pirates opened their season Tonight at Beautiful Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves.

On the mound for the Pirates was pitcher Ian Snell who was looking to jump start his season. The Brave sent veteran pitcher John Smoltz to the mound, as he wanted to prove he was still capable of pitching with the best of 'em.

Ian Snell struggled early on and gave up 1 run on 3 hits in the 1st inning. Mark Teixeira drove in Yunel Escobar and moved Chipper to 3rd, but then Ian settled down and pitched out of the inning.

Mark Teixeira driving in Yunel Escobar in the 1st inning.

John Smoltz was lights out until the 6th inning when he walked Jack Wilson. The following pitch Wilson took off and stole second. Then, the pitch after that resulted in a Freddy Sanchez RBI Single to tie up the game at 1 for the Pirates.

The following inning Ian Snell remained brilliant, but it looked like he was going to walk away with a no decision when he finished the 7th inning with the score tied up at 1. Then, the firstpitch of the 8th inning, Xavier Nady scorched it to right field to give Snell the victory, Smoltz was then pulled completing 7 innings of work.

In the 9th inning, Matt Capps got tremendous defense help from Jack Wilson to rob Matt Diaz for the 1st out. Next up, was Pinch-hitter Gregor Blanco, he flew out to McLouth. Next Batter, Brian McCann lined to CF for a single. Jeff Francoeur was up at-bat for the Braves now. After a 10 pitch battle Capps was finnally able to strike him out and recorded his 1st save of the season.
