My New York Yankees Franchise (ASB 2004 -XBOX-)

Ok guys this is my first post here.... ive noticed a few similar names on the ign boards so i regestered here cause the posts n topics r MUCH better.... ok now on to the franchise.

NY Yankees 16-10 tied for first (red sox) in the AL East

soriano 2b (.343 8 hr 19 rbi 13 sb)
jeter ss (.394 4 hr 11 rbi)
giambi 1b (.320 9 hr 26 rbi..#1 in 2 major stat categories)
williams cf (.210 7 hr 11 rbi)
ventura 3b (.404 4 hr 9 rbi...15 game hit streak)
posada c (.317 2 hr 4 rbi)
matsui lf (.329 1 hr 6 rbi)
mondesi rf (.311 4 hr 11 rbi)
thames dh (.214 0 hr 2 rbi... just called up)

rotation:
pettitte 1-1 3.19
mussina 3-2 3.26

set up man: isringhausen (aquired for clemens... i needed strength in the pen and clemens had 3 losses with a 6 era)

closer: mariano rivera 0-2 2.00 7 saves 2 blown.

my next series is gonna be against the first place mariners.

mariners at YANKEES (3 game series review)

ok so here we r in a classic matchup of rivals.. the mariners and my ny yanks

Game 1: yankees 7 mariners 6
mussina vs pineiro
looking at the matchup i THOUGHT it would be a duel.. but in the rainy confines of yankee stadium i was mistaken.. neither pitcher made it out of the 4th inning as it was 6-6 after 4.... both bullpens came up big until bernie hit a hr in the 8th.

game 2: yankees 9 mariners 8
lieber vs franklin
ok so im gettin pissed with the amount of runs both teams r throwin up, but soriano hits a bottom of the 9th walk off hr to take the game

game 3: mariners 4 yankees 2
wells vs wright
in the first real duel, wright strikesout an amazing 12 yankees as my bats go sour and only manage 4 hits
but hey i still salvage the series 2-1 and now turn my sights to another rival.. the oakland a's

mvp of series: bernie williams
i dont remember exact stats but he hit like .450 for the 3 games he snapped out of his season long .200 slump

more updates after every series i play (BTW i play all games, veteran level and zone hitting)
