Bulls Fall In Akron

Buffalo was once again beaten by a 1 win team. This time it was at the hands of the Akron Zips. Luckily, the Bulls were helped by Temple. TEMPLE?!

Temple, the winless team pulled off the biggest 'upset' of the year when they beat #7 Kent State 13-6. Buffalo still needs help to get into the MAC Championship game. A Kent State loss next week to N. Illinois and a Buffalo victory over Kent would most likely put them into the MAC Championship game.

Buffalo still needs to get past Bowling Green... So stay tuned, we have an exciting couple of weeks ahead.

Bulls On Parade

Next Year's Starting QB Ed Young took over the Bulls Offense against Kent State and led them to victory

After a couple disappointed losses to Ohio and Akron- Buffalo managed to pull together as a team and win there next two games. Beating Bowling Green by 21 points (31-10) and scraping by Kent State in a hard fought 17-14 victory.

After the victory of Kent State- the Bulls were off to Detroit for the MAC Championship. They crushed the Rockets by the score of 26-3 and became the MAC Representative in the Motor City Bowl. For the first time in quite awhile there is pride in the city of Buffalo for their college football team.

Led by James Starks' 1900 yards and 30 TDs Rushing the Bulls look primed to defeat lowly Arkansas State (7-5).

Starks Places 2nd In Heisman Voting

Our very own James "The Mouth" Starks came in second place to Graham Harrell for the Heisman Trophy. He finished the regular season with 196 attempts for 1900 yards and 30 TDs rushing.

Buffalo Barely Wins Motor City Bowl

Roosevelt picks up the Bulls when all seemed lost. Buffalo fell behind by 14 points in the 2nd quarter as James Starks severely injured his shoulder and his backup got knocked out of the game. Leaving the running duties to the 3rd string RB and Senior QB Drew Willy.

After guiding the Bulls down for 2 field goals and pulling within 8 points and then scoring the tying TD and 2 point conversion the game was still in doubt.

Arkansas State drove down the field and scored a go ahead field goal with just under a minute remaining.

That was when Naaman Roosevelt took the ensuing kickoff back 99 yards for the winning score. Buffalo then intercepted a desperation pass and kicked a field goal as time expired to ice the game and bring home the victory.

As the Coach Marktg30 came off the field he was bombarded with questions about his future at Buffalo. Rumors have been circulating about him being contacted by the likes of Arkanasas (3-9) and Indiana (4-8) calling him for interviews. He didn't help things when he said he would address his future at a press conference after he celebrated the bowl victory with his team.

I have realized two major mistakes...

1) I hate using Buffalo
2) My presentation on this thread is horrid

With that stated, I am in the search for two things...

1) A team I don't hate using (no domes, cool uniforms)
2) A decent photoshop template to set up recaps, etc. Any help would be appreciated.
