    Kentucky Wildcats NCAA 09 Dynasty
    All American Difficulty
    Custom Sliders
    7 Minute Quarters

    Recruiting House rules:
-I will avoid recruiting scrambling QB's as I find this makes the game far too easy for me
-I wont be recruiting JUCO's as I find them a pain in the *** to being with

Recruits must not have Louisville as top school

Recruits must not have Louisville in top 5 schools

    Gameplay house rules:
-No switching of players while on defense while play is on, may only switch if player I'm currently using is hopelessly out of the play
-If CPU interceptions are getting out hand within a game, I'll run into the offense instead of trying to avoid touchdowns (to avoid running up the score on CPU picks returned for a TD)
-I wont go for it on 4th down under any circumstance on my side of the field (since the CPU wont)
-Any 4th down gambles from center field to the opponents 30 must be done in fake punt/field goal formations
-I will never use "safe" punt returns
-If the CPU QB is having a horrible game and they have a backup that's near him in rating, I will switch to their side and make the change for them, then return to Kentucky the next play

Hello again to all, and once more into the dynasty realm I head. Ill once again be using my fave team, the Wildcats. The site has been redesigned slightly, and I'll be adding a few more stats. I've added some recruiting standards/restrictions to help keep the recruiting challenging and realistic. I'm also quite happy to have signed Mossakowski in week 1 too, while Newton is still considering me. If Newton wont sign with me this year, I'll rename him and try again next season. Kentucky having these 2 guys in RL is awesome and I wanna make sure I get them here too in my dynasty.

Season begins.. not how I wanted.. but kind of how I expected with a beefed up Louisville
It wasn't the start to the season Kentucky was looking for, and the fears that many Kentucky followers all came to fruision. Louisvilles dominant offense lead by Strippling and Cantwell moved the ball at will for the bulk of the game, and converted on several big plays to bury the Wildcats and reclaim the Governors Cup.

Nice fat update to the site today stats wise. The standings are filling out quite well, and I'm starting to get the sliders around where I need to them to be to have good football. Looking at a decent season so far, was 3-3 going against Arkansas, had I lost that.. no way I beat Tennessee Florida or Georgia with my injuries, I'm looking at no bowl and probably losing a star for program prestige. Next big game is against Miss. State... I think I can take Vandy quite handily, but if the Bulldawgs are my next obstacle to a bowl. Check out the site for all updates and game recaps

Bowl week is coming up, and I have the matchup on the website. Season has finished up and I'll be adding the final stats of the year later tonight, after I get the Bowl game finished up.

Recruiting's going kinda well, I expect to finish in the top 25 for sure

2008 season review is up, all the final stats, standings, bowl winners, heisman winner and my final recruiting class is added up. the 2009 preview is up and ready to be read, as well as the schedule.

Biggest news in the offseason, besides getting 2 excellent 79 and 80 defensive tackles, is the transfer of Kevan Smith from PITT to my program. Unless Hartline has a crazy year and improves at least 2 points + outtrains him, Smith will likely be the starter next season.

Enjoy the read; comments and feedback are welcome

Great site and nice season. I'm sure UK wouldn't mind a bowl game this year. However they looked pretty good against UL! Or else UL looked that bad...

I think it was a combo of both. Our defense was monstrous, and their offense didn't have an answer.

Season 2 is now well under way, just added up the current stats for 2009. So far it's been a pretty typical year, except Georgias having a really tough time for some reason. The injury bug has been tough, my wide receiving core is essentially decimated. Pretty much my only hope to win ball games now is a good rushing attack. Louisville is 6-0, and Im just drooling at the chance to knock them out of the championship game if they keep on winning lol

Season is starting to wind down, and the games are becoming more and more important. 7-5 seems like a very possible scenario, it all depends on Arkansas and Louisville games. I dont think I'm going to count on beating Tennessee or SC (who knows the gamecocks are hard to predict) .. but I do think Arkansas and Louisville are winnable games, and 7-5 should be what I finish at. I really really really hope Louisville keeps winning.. so I can knock em outta the title game lol. Stay tuned to the site and as always feel free to post comments and suggestions

Season winds down to last game, everything at stake
                      http://ukathletics.webs.com/

Perhaps the most important game in the history of both programs is only 1 week away. The stakes: a national title game for Louisville, and a bowl game and spoiler roll for Kentucky. Should Louisville win the game, they will remain undefeated and likely play in the national championship, and if Kentucky pulls it out, they will have denied their archrivals the chance to play in the biggest game of their schools history. Mike Hartline will be fully healed and ready to go from his week 11 injury, and is expected to take all the snaps.

The season is over, and to find out who won the biggest game in Kentucky history, check out the site. I have a video uploaded and linked, showing the winning score. The game wound up being ranked #2 on my instant classics list, and was a complete hoot to play. I'm glad the hype was lived up to with a classic game, that's for sure

Ill soon have the bowl results, final stats and season wrap up posted. If not tonight, tommorow. thanks again for visiting the site and reading along

Few updates to the site structure itself; I've refined the stats page ... from now on, during the season itself I'll only update the top players in the NCAA and in my own school, and do a full stats breakdown at years end. The video page has been added up too, and has highlights from important games.

2010 is set to begin , and the 2009 recap is posted as well as the 2010 preview

South Carolina would prevent a Kentucky 4th quarter comeback after allowing a blocked punt for a touchdown, the Gamecocks would return the kick off for a touchdown to go back up by 2 scores, and go on to win 35-21. QB Kevan Smith was briefly pulled in the 3rd due to a minor injury, but returned in the 4th.

Another freaking sweet game against Arkansas in Lexington.. something about that combination just equals great games. Week 10 in 2010 resulted in my #2 instant classic on my profile, with #1 being my Arkansas game in 2008 in Lexington. The score is 24-20 for Arkansas, and I'm driving up the field for the win. 6 seconds left in the game, 4th and goal from the 5 yard line...
