Highheat's Quest For Glory!!!! (Tiger Woods '09, XBox360)

    System: XBox 360

    Level: Tour Pro

I can't promise you all how this will go, but I'll do my best to make it as presentable as possible. If any of you have any tips along the way, feel free to PM me and give me some suggestions. What I will try to update is:

    1) How I finish each round
    2) Leaderboards after each round
    3) Equipment I purchase
    4) Money I receive after each round
    5) Skill Level after each round

I also want to let you all know that I will not participate in any of the skill challenges afterwards. I was going to limit myself to 5 attempts per each, but for some reason my system freezes on the load screen if I try to do the skills. It's really annoying having to manually shut down the system after each one and reset, and I really don't see how that could be good on the XBox, so I'll pass. Hope you all enjoy my trip as I battle through the great courses and along side the great names of the PGA Tour!!!! Oh, and just to let you all know, this won't interfere with my MLB "The Show" Franchise going on as well, I'll probably just limit myself to one round a day if possible. Enjoy!!!!!

        Upcoming Tournament Preview

        Sheshan International Golf Club
        Shanghai, China
        Yards: 7143
        Par: 72

        4 Day Event
        Purse Amount: $75,000
        Total Score: 271
        Entry Requirements: None

Shanghai is in a period of redevelopment while respecting magnificent history. As the financial engine of China it has become the economic focal point of Asia and will arguably be the most important financial centre in the world in the future. The club itself, designed by Nelson & Haworth, is set within the Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist & Holiday Zone close to the famous Sheshan Mountain located in the west of Shanghai. Nelson & Haworth Golf Design has designed more than 70 golf courses all over the world, and their designing concept of combining the game of golf with traditional cultures is served well here.

The 18-hole championship course with a total length of 7140 yards utilises Bent grass on the greens and Seashore Paspalun for the fairways, tees and rough areas and its unique design offers deep valleys and rolling hills, combined with a large amount of trees and large spans of water. Nelson & Haworth have designed the course to be one of the most hilly and forested golf courses in the Shanghai region and their concept called for 1.6 million cubic meters of earth to be brought in to create this unique golfing environment.

Elevation changes of over 12 meters are found on several holes, with the most dramatic being hole 8. The rolling hills of Sheshan will be covered with both pine and deciduous trees and each hole will be separated by trees, so players on adjacent fairways will not be able to see each other. Water has been used throughout the golf course to enhance the aesthetic beauty as well as aid irrigation. All the lakes are connected, allowing the water to constantly flow. Many of the holes either play along the existing canal, around manmade lakes or over the spectacular 50-meter deep quarry, a unique feature of Sheshan. In addition to the lakes, scenic landscaped streams add to the mountain forest landscape image. The most unique feature of Sheshan is the dramatic and intimidating quarry. Two holes, 16 and 17 play around and over the quarry, giving the golfer both an awe inspiring view while requiring great golf shots. These two holes will not only be the signature holes of Shanghai Sheshan Golf Club, but also of the whole Shanghai region.

I'm shutting this down guys. It was fun the first week or so, but I'm bored with it. I'm trading it in when NHL 09 comes out. Thanks for following anyways.

I was going to do a Tiger Woods 09 video dynasty but it just wasn't going to be exciting enough because you don't play in tournaments with another AI golfer -- you're just playing against the scoreboard. A very poor design performance by EA sports which is too bad because it's a fun game.

Wow, you're way better than me. I was like plus 30 for that first tournament.

Yeah, I liked the game for the most part, but it was very easy for me. If they would have the 3 button method for the upper levels, I might of thought of keeping it. The 2nd round I played, I got an achievement for hitting every fairway off the drive. I swear, every drive was right down the middle with the analog stick. I'd play the easier levels with the 3 button click and it was harder to time for me for some reason. It just got ridiculously boring.

I can hit the fairways but my putting was terrible.
