    NoleFan's "Player Lock" Dynasty (NCAA 09, PS3)

The way this works is that I will play as the QB/K/P only and let Coach Corso handle all of my playcalling. I sim ahead until next change of possession on defense and this allows the cpu to be somewhat efficient offensively...especially if playing a good team. The dynasty will pick up with the 9th game of the season hosting Air Force.

    My Set-up...
Sliders: My Madden "My Skill" settings roughly translated for NCAA
    Quarters: 7-Minutes
    Difficulty: Varsity
    Starting Team: Army

(AP) - The Black Knights came into their annual rivalry game with Air Force as the talking heads' favorite to come away with victory but early on the Falcons had other plans. At the close of the first quarter of play, Army found themselves in a 7-17 hole at home. A 2nd quarter quarter TD pass from Carson Williams to Jameson Carter narrowed the deficit for the Black Knights heading into halftime. Scoring so late in the half combined with a spirited speech during the intermission gave Army all the spark they needed as they went on to outscore the Falcons 24-3 in the second half, including a 21-point explosion in the final frame. All 3 Black Knight TDs came from the strong running Tony Moore, Army's starting HB. "The line blocked exceptionally well all game but really stepped it up in the fourth when we needed to kill the clock. Having those long drives really helped us wear down their D and add some points to our lead," said the Black Knights' coach in regard to his team ground game late. Army improves to 6-3 on the season and play on the road in their next game against the 6-3 Rice Owls.

      Box Score
      Air Force
      S. Smith: 12-20, 164 YARDS, TD, 3 SACK
      S. Stephens: 12 ATT, 47 YARDS, TD, 3 REC, 23 YARDS
      A. Hemphill: 3 REC, 86 YARDS, TD

      T. Moore: 35 ATT, 163 YARDS, 3 TD

(AP) - If the season ended today, the Army Black Knights would be bowl eligible and face the Utah Utes in the Poinsettia Bowl on December 20th.

Tough way to end the winning streak at Rice - was it a result of the slider change we mentioned?

No, I was still using my Madden "My Skill" sliders converted for NCAA on Varsity. Provided some really good games actually since I was supersimming defense.
