    Minnesota Twins (MLB 2K8)

The Twins hire a new GM this afternoon as Kevin Rogers will try to lead this team to the promise land. It will be a challenge, espically after losing Hunter and Santana but with this young talent the sky is the limit.

The team will be built around the two M's in Morneau and Mauer. Young players such as Blackburn, Liriano and Bonser are going to try and keep the Twins in games this season.

The steady closer Joe Nathan is looking for another solid season. Minnesota is also looking for their young studs to break out this season. Players like Delmon Young and Carlos Gomez are due for a big season this year.

Ron Gardenhire is looking to return the Twins back to first after a couple years of rebuilding.

Should be an exciting season, lets see if the Twins can do it.

Scouting Report for the LA Angels.

Solid pitching and timely hitting. That sums up what you would expect from the AL West Champs.

Led by Vlad Guerrero, this team will be a challenge for the young Twins. The Twins will get to see a familiar face, as Torrie Hunter will begin his reign as the CF for the Angels.

The Twins are going to need to be selective against the ace John Lackey. The 29 year old righty went 19-9 last season, bolstering an ERA of 3.01 and picked up 179 strikeouts.

After Lackey, the Angels pitch Jerrod Weaver, John Garland, and Ervin Santana, respectively.

All 4 games will be at the Metrodome, so the crowd may play a factor. Weather will not be an issue.

Angels rally in the 8th to knock off Twins.

Juan Rincon came into the game in the 8th and gave up 2 home runs and a safety squeeze play. Final score was 7-3 Angels.
