Greatest Show On Turf - St.Louis Rams

    Game: Madden NFL 09
    Platform: PS2
    Difficulty: All-Madden
    Quarter Length: 12 Minutes
    Sliders: KingV2k3 Stat Accurate

    House Rules
User trades will be realistic, only trading for players that fit my needs and are deemed fit for my team.
Again, drafting will only be for team needs.
On the field, I will try to balance the pass/run game for realistic stats etc.
    Same goes for defensive plays, e.g 1st and 10 cover 2, 3rd and 20 cover 4 etc.
My goal is to try and keep this Franchise as close to real life as possible.

    New Owner For Rams

St. Louis Rams today announced that they are now under new ownership.
Bob Surfran, who has a 75% stake of a well known oil company and was once owner of a CFL team is now the Rams owner.
It comes after months of speculation, the Texan reportedly payed an estimated 430 million dollars for compete control of St. Louis.
Surfran was said to be delighted with the deal as it was a dream of his to once own an NFL Franchise.
There is no doubt this is a historic day in Rams history, now under new ownership will St. Louis find a way back into the postseason in years to come?

Warner now a Ram, Bulger a Cardinal

Bob Sufran's first day as owner certainly turned out to be an eventful one.
QB Marc Bulger who was said to be unsettled in St. Louis was traded for Kurt Warner, Warner once won a Superbowl with the Rams and was welcomed by fans at a nearby media facility.
The deal included St. Louis's 3rd round pick for Arizona's 4th and 7th round pick.
Rams owner Bob Surfran made his first media appearance alongside Warner, announcing, " It's important we have a true leader, a winner and experienced QB at the helm of this Football team. kurt has been here before and knows what it takes to win - I think its a huge trade"
Warner now 37 is coming to the end of his career and the media questioned the deal, asking 'does this mean you will be drafting a QB with your first round pick' and 'what if Kurt gets injured' - neither of these queries were answered, only time will tell.
