    Los Angeles Dodgers Franchise(WSB 2k3)

Kind of late lol. I've already played 34 games and my record is 25-9. But I've made alot of moves, recently acuired Roy Halladay in a deal for Kevin Brown, who has won 2 games for me in his 2 starts. I also got Escobar in the deal, and he sets up Gagne. I still feel like my bullpen is missing some piece, I think I'm one reliever away from making my bullpen more reliable, because they have had there fair shairs of blown games. Shawn Green is having an amazing season, and I freed up plenty of cap. My bank is at 34, and I have 333 budget points to spend in the offseason! I hope Tejada will be there, I'm in need of a SS, and might get one near the trading deadline.

Other News: Royals have reported on the News page that they are willing to trade players who they think are dragging their team down. I'm going to offer for Beltran a little later on, but as I play my games I will be posting all my scores and stuff. I haven't got a chance to make one because I'm too busy playing the game! I'm hooked

I can't wait to see how your franchise goes bro I like the Halladay deal - seems like we both like to hit up the Jays for their young (and cheap) talent...My bank is at 4 (small market team) and I right now only have 49 budget points to spend on free agents, but I hope that will change as I do well in my season...Looks like the Dodgers will have a Yankee-like summer once the season is over - maybe you should try for K-Rod

ESPN reports the Dodgers and Indians have made a deal sending Ben Sheets from LA to the Indians in exchange for C.C. Sabathia.

Game 35: Los Angeles @ New York

        NY - 4
        LA - 2

        WP - Pedro Astacio (3-3)
        LP - Kazuhisa Ishii (3-3)
        S - Benitez (14)
        HR - Piazza(8)

Ishii was jumped on early as he gave up 4 runs in the 1st Inning, but was impressive from then on throwing 8 IP, and striking out 8. But unfortunately, it came in a losing matter. Pedro Astacio was terrific, he gave up 2 runs in the early part of the game also, but pitched well towards the end. I just couldn't get the bats going this game. Astacio was pretty much untouchable.

            HR - Green(14)

Roy Halladay was dominant in this game. Pitching 7 strong innings, giving up only one run and struck out 5. He was supported by a Shawn Green 2-run HR in the 2nd which led the way for the Dodgers. Trachsel pitched a decent game, but wasn't able to get run support. I am now 26-10 and will be on my way to Canada to face the Expos in a 3 game series!

                S - Stewart (8)
                HR - None

Nomo didn't have his stuff this game. Montreal really rallied off him loading the bases 3 times in the game, but it doesn't look as bad because Nomo was able to get out of it. Sun Woo Kim really suprised me, he had great stuff and pretty much shut my bats down.
                LA - 3

                S - Gagne (16)
                HR - Hafner(10)

I came out lucky in this one. It was a duel between Perez and Vasquez until we went into the 7th inning when Hafner broke a 2-2 tie to give me the lead 3-2. The scary thing was, Vlad had the bases loaded twice, but thanks too my pitching I was able to get him out on ground outs. Hafner saves the day again, as Gagne wrapped the game up with his 16th save of the year.

I also traded for Carlos Beltran, and Aurthur Rhodes. I think I am going to make a team website on tripod or angelfire, or somethingl. It will be easier, and I will update it weekly. It will be under my sig.
