Was to be a great matchup between an equal pitching staff and great batters, was a great matchup.

Detroit Tigers @ Los Angeles Dodgers

Key Matchup Batting ... The Dodgers come in to this game with a 99 Hitting Overall, best in the MLB, and the Tigers come in with the 3rd best batting statistically.

The Dodgers fronted quick, racking up 4 hits and 2 runs in the first inning off of Tigers' pitching ace Jake Syed (88 Overall). The game leveled out from there, occassionally teams would get a hit here and there, but the game was a close small scoring match.
