A Starving City: Buffalo's Quest for Glory

So, I am just in the beginning stages right now of getting this report together, but I wanted to start by stating how I was going to do this, and show you my layout, to see if anyone would be interested in following.

Basically, I am going to run 3 simultaneous dynasties with the UB Bulls (NCAA 09), Buffalo Bills (Madden 09), and Buffalo Sabres (NHL 09). I will be doing the updates as the year should progress (for example, all updates will be happening at once. So, when all 3 teams are in their season, their might be 2 Sabres updates in a row, because they might play twice in a given week before Saturday's UB game, and then Sunday's Bills game...hopefully you follow me.)

There are a couple of things that I will have to do though to make sure that these coincide with each other, and to ensure that I keep up playing the dynasties. First off, since you have to put a draft class after preseason of Madden, I will be playing through the whole UB first season, and doing the writeups, and then storing them on my hard drive, releasing them in chronological order to coincide with the Madden weeks. That way you get the full experience of the whole year together, and I get to use the draft class.

Second, I like using created players of myself, my son, my friends. It makes it more interesting for me, so, you will probably see prospects of both myself and my son or a couple of other people in both my Sabres and NCAA (and eventually Madden) dynasties. I know its not realistic, but it keeps it fun for me, and that's really all that counts.

Once I am prepared here, I will be posting all of the sliders / rosters / settings for each game that I will be using. Until then, I would like to know some feedback on if you would be interested in following this, and what you think of my layout. I'll even throw in an incentive. The first 10 people (if they would like) that comment on my layout or give suggestions, can have themselves created into either the NCAA or NHL portion of my dynasty. You will just have to give any pertinant info that I would need for each game.

So, without further nonsense, here is the layout:

Let me know what you think!

I agree. I just spent about 25 minutes reading your dynasty, It's really good.

So, Im almost to where I need to be. I have my UB bulls dynasty almost all done with season 1, and since the patch just came out for NHL, thats all I need there (that and to finish fixing Buffalo's minor league system. Once season 1 is done, I can start simultaneously playing them and reporting the results.

I am off to Buffalo for the Bills/Browns game tomorrow night, but should be starting to report next week!

If you have responded and want any part of being a prospect in either my NHL or NCAA dynasties, send me a PM with your info, and I will throw you in there.

Nice! Ill be in section 204, I have season tickets up there...only about a 5 hr drive up there, so its not too bad. If you look in that region (scoreboard endzone, on the corner of the lux. boxes, Ill be in the back row, rockin' the McGahee jersey that I turned into a "McLovin" Jersey.

i have season tickets as well, but section 227 (complete other side of the stadium). the tickets are cheap, the view isnt bad, but the atmosphere isnt as exciting. i most likely will have different seats next year.
