*The Life And Times Of Dmitri Semenov*

Note: I accidently deleted my Jason Skyland be a pro. That is why I'm making this one. The Skyland one will be re-created maybe mid-December or evne maybe before that.

Dmitri was born in Moscow,Russia in 1988 to Ruslan Semenov and Alexia Semenov. His father was a minor hockey player, but never got his chance at the NHL even though he was drafted to the Hartford Whalers. His mother did and still does play Olympic women's hockey for Team Russia. She is also expected to play in the 2010 Winter Olympics.

Dmitri was raised into a hockey breating family. He was the oldest of 2 kids, only having a sister. His sister is also expected to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a Olympic medalist. His father did play in the Olympics also but was not as successful as his wife, playing only to get bronze twice unlike his wife who has 2 golds, 2 silves and 1 bronze.

Dmitri was put on skates at the tender age of two. By the time he was 6 years old, he was put into organized hockey. He wasn't the best skater, so he decided to try defence, he never looked back. He soon got noticed by many Russian orginazations.

He decided to join the Moscow Dynamo. Dmitri put up pretty good numbers in his first couple of seasons. Coming on to point totals of 20, 22 and then 35. He got the trust of his coaches and became a big part of the team. He got a then, career high point total of 51 points.

It seemed his physical game was the biggest part of his play. He got a league leading 220 pims. He grew to be taller and a bigger player, coming into the NHL draft at 6'4 and 220 pounds.

He was skipped over in the 2007 draft because he broke his leg when he first got to North America to play in the OHL. He improved when he got bakc on the ice, scoring a whomping 85 points. He was drafted in the 1st Round by the New York Rangers. He is expected to play on the 3rd defencive for the Hartford Wolf Pack.
