Canucks training Camp 09:
I was on fire i was keeping a lot out of the net everyone i think did pot one though but it was the moment of truth. Alain Vigneault had me and Sanford in the room. "Cory Curtis I know there has been some confusion of who will be the back up and who will be in the AHL. But the starter in the AHL will be Cory Curt your in the NHL."
those words hit me hard knowing that it would be another year in the AHL meant i would have play my but off to try and make it just as a backup

Exactly. With a little bit of a storyline added in.........
Examples: "Danny Sedin took the saucer pass from Hank Sedin on the breakout, and then dangled all of the Flames on the ice and tucked the puck in behind Kipprusoff, putting us up 1-0, on a spectacular individual effort."
"The Flames captain, Iginla took the breakaway pass comin' out of the penalty box, threw some nasty dekes at me, but I managed to absolutely rob him with my glove, keeping us in the lead. I just kinda used my instincts, and threw the glove up, and stacked the pads. “I got scored on by Grabner who found a rebound and roofed it far glove side in close which I had no chance of stopping and then he roofed a 1 timer that was a bullet god I need practice on those his 3rd on me was another 1 timer which was weak wow I made a bunch on 17 rushes but let 3 in. AGAIN I got chunk of it but Grabners still fluttered in. This time Keane potted 1 after I got knocked over and everyone was in close and sprawling I couldn’t get it. Baumgartners point shot got tipped by guess who and in. So I made 48 saves on 50 rushes they only got 6 in which means my defence and I won 44 rushes 5-5.”Comment

On game day i found out that i would have gotten the call up if I were on Tampa as Kolzig is injured even if only for 8 days also Drew Miller of Iowa is injured for the next 19 daysComment

DAMN Jeremy Collition completely faked me out with a fake 1 timer into a fourhand to backhand move top shelf blocker side DAMN IT at 6:18 on the powerplay from Iggulden and Tambellini
I robbed Matt Keith high glove side on a nice hard shot then threw the puck to Jim Sharrow who passed it to Hansen who passed it to Rypien who threw it to the 1 time master who did just that backhand on Danis at 11:25
Damn major redirection by Tambellini off of Calahans point shot which was also assisted by Spiller at 14:17

Wow another great save this time with the paddle as Skinners pointshot gets tipped by Keith who was screening me as well as Mciver was screening me but I managed to keep the puck out of my cage.
