David Stern Announcement: David Stern came out told ESPN something that should have never happened. Here is what David Stern had to say. "The NBA is going through some hard times. It looks to me that the NBA is a eight team league, consisting of the Lakers, Cavaliers, Mavericks, Celtics, Pistons, Suns, Spurs, and Rockets. That is all about to change. Next Monday is going to be the day of all days in NBA history. The NBA is going to go through its first and last NBA draft under my commishioning. Thank you for all your time and I will see you next Monday in Liberty, Missouri. That is the middle of the United States, of states that don't have a team." Yes that was a real time conference with David Stern.

            29. The Wizards settle with Rishard Lewis as their first round draft pick.
            30. With the last pick in the first round of the NBA Fantasy Draft, the Trail Blazers go with defense also and choose Ben Wallace.
Thank you for listening to the picks of the first round. I hope you are satisfied with the picks. That concludes the coverage of the NBA Fantasy Draft."

Hello welcome back. It's me Stephen A. Smith reporting back. After the whole NBA Fantasy Draft finished I thought I would tell you I thought the real winner was. I think the real winner of the draft was the Indiana Pacers. Their whole starting five consists of stars. They have Dwayne Wade, Chris Paul, Lou Deng, and big man Zydrunas Ilguaskas. The were the real winners in this draft.
Now with the losers of the draft. I think the Miami Heat were the big losers of the draft. They only picked up one good player. That was Allen Iverson. The Trail Blazers did better than them picking up Brandon Roy, Dwight Howard, and Ben Wallace. Yes, AI was a good first round pick. It's not like the draft went backwards in the second round. It was the same order. O'Well. We will just have to see how they do in the regular season. Thats all that matters right now. I'm Stephen A. Smith reporting from Liberty, Missouri, at the NBA Fantasy Draft. Now you will see the Arizona Cardinals take on the San Fransisco 49ers on ESPN's Monday Night Football. Good Night Everybody."

                Bidding Time?
It seems that a lot of teams are intrested in Rajon Rondo. The Celtics show intrest in him, as well as the Pistons. The Nuggets went ahead and offered Rondo a two year contract. The Nuggets currently have three spots open to fill. The Nuggets also placed an offer on Maurice Ager, who also has a lot of attention. They offered him a two year $865 K contract. Currently the Suns, Bulls, and Heat are looking to sign Ager. Both you talented players will get back to the Nuggets in a couple of days.

                  Free Agents Respond
Hours before the game against the Clippers, both Ager and Rondo responded to the contract offers the Nuggets proposed to them. Rondo's agent said that the Nuggets were out of money for Rondo to be on the team. Ager's agent told the Nuggets to offer more money and they have a deal.
The Nuggets went ahead and offered Ager more money to see what will happen.
Seconds before the game Ager's agent responded back, saying Ager wants more money. The Nuggets said no more then, because they have no salary cap space.

Both teams came into the game undefeated, but only one could leave still undefeated. As these two teams are rivals, it made each team want to win more. It didn't realy show who wanted to win right at tip-off. At the end of the second quarter, none of the fans even knew who was going to win the game. Minnesota took the lead with a buzzer beater 3 point shot at the end of the second quarter to go up by 2 points. The Nuggets blew up in the 3rd quarter to take a 5 point lead. At the end of the game it looked like Denver wanted to win as the Nuggets lit up th areana as they scored 101 points. The final score was 101- 93. The player of the game was Gilbert Areanas. He scored 22 points, had 9 rebounds, and 10 asists.
Stat of Game(1) Gilbert Arenas was one rebound away from having a triple double. He had 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 10 assists.
