Silver and BACK: HC09 Raiders Franchise

JustWinBaby's Oakland Raiders HC09 Franchise- HC Benny Lava

    House Rules
    • No special skills for any coaches
    • No In-Season Scouting
    • No Pro Days
    • No Individual Workouts
    • "Realistic" Trades-Only offer trades for players ON trade block
    Playbooks
Offense:A modification of the West Coast Playbook. Majority of runs are inside runs, majority of pases are short, quick passes. Very few intermediate and deep balls, very few outside runs. In game, hope to run the ball more than 50% of the time, and have short, high percentage passes to make long scoring drives. Only singleback and I-form in playbook at the start.

Defense: A modification of the Jaguars Physical D playbook. 100% man coverage for CBs, safeties have a mix of centerfield zones and man, LBs either blitz or man, with few zones. Mostly 4 man rushes. Also a lot of run blitzes, and a few pass blitzes as well. Has 4-3, nickel, and dime playbooks as of now.

Team Philosophies(not neccesarily the game's default, but what I am looking for)
QB-Be able to make short, accurate throws
RB-Be able to pound the rock in the middle
FB-Able to pave way for RB, occasionally pass block and recieve
TE-Able to set the edge in run blocking, make the occasional short catch
WR-able to block, strong enough to make catches over the middle, also quick and agile to evade defenders and get open on the short passes
OT-Good at setting up the run, also able to pass protect
OG-Able to pave the way on inside runs
C-Able to get to the MLB, neutralize the LBs during runs
    DE-stop run and rush passer
DT-stuff the inside as well as get a push
OLB-Be able to play man, runblitz, and passrush
MLB-Be able to zone, play man, runblitz and passrush
CB-has to play the run well, also must be good in MCV
FS-Good ZCV, Occasional MCV and blitz
SS-Can play MCV, ZCV, run blitz, and pass blitz
K-Accuracy is most important, dont really care for the big leg
P-Able to punt it deep, don't care as much for coffin corners

I've gotten all Level 5 for the offensive line skills(intangibles, physical, learning). I am then going to go for level 5 for the defensive line (all 3), then I'll decide where to improve my coach from there - most likely LBs after getting level 5s for both the lines.

Starting in the 2008 Preseason, will sim through that and start playing at the end of the season (will fire all of the coaches/GM/trainer and hire a 100% new staff) and heading on into the offsesaon. I'm gonna try and get the Maceo Sweetney(NO SPOILER) draft as that is the only one in this game I haven't done yet.

EDIT: I was playing HC09 earlier and suddenly my PS3 froze... turns out I have to repair it for the SECOND time, as the disk reader isnt working. So it'll be 2-3 weeks before I update this again
