        04/06-04/09 @Cincinnati Reds

        April 6th
        Mets 4 Reds 2
A Marlon Anderson pinch hit home run in the 8th and a Ryan Church solo shot in the 9th gave the Mets the breathing room they needed for their first win of the season.

        April 8th
        Mets 8 Reds 5 11 innings
The long ball played a huge role for both teams as the Mets prevailed thanks in part to two blast each from Carlos Beltran and Ryan Church, the last for each coming in the 11th inning. Beltran's 2-run shot gave the Mets the lead and Church's added the final margin of victory. Beltran's solo shot in the 9th forced extras.

        April 9th
        Mets 7 Reds 6
The Mets and Reds engaged in another nailbiter that would be decided in the 8th following a David Wright solo shot, his second of the game, giving New York a season opening sweep over Cincinnati.

Good luck with your dynasty - but only because this isn't real life. I wish the real Mets nothing but failure! Go Marlins! (Just kidding - I'll be following )

Hah. "New End Result"?????? Maybe in your dynasty, because, in real life, the Mets will choke for the 3rd straight time!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck with your dynasty though.

well there are two subway series and if the yankees do their part there will be a World Subway Series rematch and this time the Mets have the horses to take the title... lets just hope CC, AJ, Wang, Andy and Joba can stay on the mound... I know the same goes for Johan, Pelfrey, Ollie, Maine and whoever our 5th is but I don't think the Yanks have a lineup like the Mets even with the addition of Texteria (sp?)

The Mets do have a good shot at it. I see the NL this year being very competitive. Should be a good real life season and hope you have a good season here!!!! I am a huge Beltran fan & David Wright is my fav current player, but not so much a Mets guy. Sorry, but Billy Hall always ends up on the Met's in my franchises lol.... Good Luck!!!
