The Angels have been up and down year after year. This appears to be an up year for the club.

I'm not sure if they've got the horses to hold off the A's this year, but they might be able to grab the wild card.

Then again, no one thought the Angels would win the World Series in 2002, so, to quote Rudy Tomjanovich, "Never underestimate the heart of a champion!" And the fact that Anaheim has pretty much kept the glue (Erstad, Percival, Glaud, Speizio) together from that squad, and added some quality guys that know how to win, you have to feel they know what it takes to get there.

The Rangers have been steadily climbing towards the upper ranks of the division. Slowly, but steadily.

It appears as if the team has finally started to solve it's "too much offense, not nearly enough pitching" problem.

While not a dominant pitching staff, this is one that will keep you in the thick of things for the long haul. Hey, you can't ask for much more than that.

I believe there are bright years ahead for Rangers fans, although they continue to play in the most competitive division in baseball the last couple of years. So, you never know, but it has been looking up.

Well, the Giants have been hit extremely hard by the injury bug this season, but it is apparant that their minor league system was built well enough to sustain what they've had to endure.

                  Kudos to the management team.

If they're able to get everyone back soon enough, I believe they have the team to beat in the West. They've been down the past couple of years but have always been tough to play against. Now that they have the parts together, things should start to look up.

The Giants have 1 of the 3 best bullpens in baseball right now.

As they stand now, the Dodgers are a mix of young talent and old, used-to-be talent. While there are still some good players held over (Helloooooo Shawn Green--reigning MVP), there's too much old money on the team (Starting Rotation).

I believe this team is a couple of years away. But a few moves here and there could speed that process up, considerably.
