for sixth straight Madden
MIAMI (AP) — Despite the fall of MaddenMania, despite an inability to bring pictures from the PS3 to the computer and despite the confidence that this franchise will last more than a few seasons, Crusader is back again.
“In the spirit of Brett Favre, I can’t walk away,” Crusader said. “I’ve been doing this for a long time now and I never really wanted to stop, it was only outside things that caused me to slow down. This Madden is one of the most exciting versions in years and I can’t pass up the chance to share a potentially amazing franchise with the Madden community.”
This franchise report will be forced to be a little bit different than those Crusader has produced in the past. The first major change is the venue in which it will be shared.
Operation Sports is the new home for Crusader with MaddenMania closing down. Although the dynasty and franchise reports do not appear as deep and detailed as some were over at MaddenMania, the audience for the report may be even higher.
The franchise report will also be shared on Crusader’s blog: The Sports Video Game Guy and on his Twitter account for more immediate and in-game updates.
This report will also take on a slightly simpler look without in-game pictures and less graphics per post.
“I want to focus on more of a newspaper-style report with every new post being an article,” Crusader said. “I don’t think I will have the time for all of the little details and work I used to put in to my reports back in the day. I plan to focus more on the style of writing with also plenty of stats to join it.”
The choice of which team to take on in Madden 10 was not made as quickly as in years past.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have been climbing the ranks of Crusader’s favorite teams list mainly due to Maurice Jones-Drew and his hilarity while being interview by Dan Patrick.
Miami is still where it will be at for Crusader with the addition of the Wildcat formation to Madden playing a substantial role in the decision.
With the main bulk of details out of the way, here is a look at some of the settings and sliders that will be used in the beginning of this franchise:
