    BYU Pounds Aztecs 31-15

"I think, coming in here taking over for Coach Crowton, and trying to uphold Coach Edwards' legacy ... I think I was calling plays with their style in mind. Not mine."
--- BYU Head Coach Mark Fossen

First place in the Mountain West, and the second week in a row with POW honors ... but next week brings the #23 Colorado State Rams.

Do the players call you Coach Fievel? If they do, you need to change it to BYU Head Coach Mark "Fievel" Fossen.

Coach Fievel has BYU in contention for the MWC title. Nice. CSU will be a good test. Van Pelt is a good QB, and they have a stable of about 3 top notch RB's, if memory serves. Including University of Colorado transfer Marcus Houston.

            Great job Fievel.

Yeah. I've already got three losses, and still have CSU, Boise State, and Notre Dame to come.

And I've already make up my mind that if Coach Fievel leads this team to it's second losing record in 29 years, he will resign, and find another program to wreck ... errrr .. I mean build.
