Re: Official OS Table Generators Site Thread
Apologies if this has already been covered.
For the MLB Box Score table, I'd like to suggest the following additions:
Underneath My/CPU Pitchers, have a set of categories like MY BATTING, etc. Include in the dropdown box WP, HB, Balk. An obvious name would be MY/CPU PITCHING.
In MY/CPU FIELDING, include PB for passed balls.
Add a section at the bottom for game notes where we could put custom fields.
Last but not least, have a checkbox next to each line in the batting order for substitutes that, if checked, will indent the player's name by 5 nbsp spaces or so. I tried to do that by adding the nbsp's in myself, but they all converted to asterisks when the table generated. That's not a huge deal, but it looks a bit cluttered that way.Comment

Re: Official OS Table Generators Site Thread
possible additions to the NCAA FB depth chart.
adding in the 4-2-5 and 3-3-5 base defenses.
for the base 4-2-5, something like:
LDE
LDT
RDT
RDE
SLB
WLB
CB
SS
FS
SS
CB
base 3-3-5:
LDE
NT
RDE
LOLB
MLB
ROLB
CB
SS
FS
SS
CB
that would cover the main defensive playbooks in the game: 4-3, 3-4, 4-2-5, and 3-3-5. the other one is Multiple D which has a combo of 3-4 and 4-3 mostly. while there are other formations(obviously), those are the "main" ones that the playbooks are build around.
also, on the NCAA FB boxscore for the home/away abbreviations to be at least 4 characters, maybe 5 if possible would be great. right now it seems to be 3.(It was 4 on the older table)Last edited by Solidice; 05-25-2010, 08:19 PM.Comment

Re: Official OS Table Generators Site Thread
I've added the Base 4-2-5 and 3-3-5 defenses for the NCAA FB depth chart and the max characters limit for NCAA FB team abbreviations has been increased from 3 to 5... working on the new additions for MLB.Comment

Re: Official OS Table Generators Site Thread
Okay, just to recap... the new additions are:
- Base 4-2-5 and 3-3-5 defenses are now available in the NCAA FB depth charts
- Team abbreviations character limit increased from 3 to 5 in NCAA FB boxscore
- "Passed Ball" added as an additional fielding stat in MLB boxscore.
- Four pitching stats added in MLB boxscore (Balk, HB, Pitches-Strikes and WP)
- In the MLB boxscore there are now check boxes next to each hitter field, if you want to mark that hitter as a PH, PR, etc. just check it and 10 pixels of space will appear before the player name when the table is created.
If you guys have any other ideas just let me know.Last edited by dynastynation; 05-26-2010, 01:03 AM.Comment

No problem.
Added a link where you guys pick up your codes, so if you just click that link now it will select all of the text in the textarea for you. I also fixed the NHL boxscores, two of the star images weren't showing up.Comment

Re: Official OS Table Generators Site Thread
Pujols, is there anyway you can create some sort of MMA table. Maybe for Ranking's for each division. Also a table for PPV's.
Just a thought.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: Official OS Table Generators Site Thread
I guess something else for NCAA FB that you could look into in the future would be a table for recruiting classes.
Top Classes(NCAA)
in the game, it has columns of:
rank, team name, 5 star, 4 star, 3 star, 2 star, 1 star, and total.
so for example: 1 - Florida - 4 - 9 - 2 - 0 - 0 - 15
in the game it lists all 120 teams, obviously that is too much for a table. lol. a good number would probably be the top 25. for the 5* through the total columns, it would only need a 2 digit number.
for an individual team recruiting class, it could be set-up in a similar way.
for columns, you could have something like:
player name, Position, Caliber(player's star rating), Height, Weight, and maybe hometown/state if there is enough room(home/state not as important).
Ex: Jason Simmons - QB - 4* - 6'4" - 205 - North Laurel, MD
or to keep it real simple, just name, position, and caliber.
in the game, a team can only recruit a maximum of 25 players in a given year, so it's similar to the polls once again.
if you need any more info, let me know. it could probably be used for NCAA BB as well.Last edited by Solidice; 05-26-2010, 09:00 PM.Comment

Re: Official OS Table Generators Site Thread
For the soccer box score, can the following be added:
Goals
Shots
Shots on Target
Tackles
Fouls
Yellow Cards
Red Cards
Injuries
Shot Accuracy
Passing
The example with data input would be something like this:
Celtic v Falkirk
1 goal 0
10 shots 4
2 shots on target 0
12 tackles 14
1 fouls 9
1 yellow cards 1
0 red cards 0
0 injuries 0
20% shot accuracy 0%
57% passing % 56%
Of course the table would clean the look up.
Thank you very much.Comment

Re: Official OS Table Generators Site Thread
Maybe Im alone but in terms of the baseball box score table generator, is there any reason why it was changed so each teams box score is side by side instead of one above the other? Its much more difficult now to simply tab through and add the stats unless you are always moving around on the game itself. When it was one above the other then I could enter one team quickly, lower the box score info in the game and enter that team quickly as well, now its much more work. Just curious if there was a reason for this switch as it doesnt seem nearly as fluid as it was before.Comment

Re: Official OS Table Generators Site Thread
@The Chef - I will change it back if you prefer it the old way... there wasn't a reason behind the change, it was just how I happened to code it. I see what you mean though about tabbing through.
Edit: This is done. They are still side-by-side but you should be able to tab through no problem.Last edited by dynastynation; 06-01-2010, 03:14 PM.Comment
