Just trying to throw out an idea I've been working on for quite sometime now...it's a dynasty I'm going to do for my long-time (dating back to NCAA 06) fictional school, the Alabama Tech Rattlers.
The premise for this dynasty will be when gameplay starts, which will be when I get the game in July and test it for about a week or so, ATU will have just joined the Big East, replacing Pitt, who has defected to the Big 10 (or 11, 12, 13...whatever).
The thing about Tech is that they've only been around for a little longer than twenty years, building a Division 1-AA (FCS) dynasty in just eighteen short years, winning six national championships before joining the big boys.
The pride and tradition is there, even in a young school. It's a really neat team to write for, and I'm excited.
Two weeks from now when I have more time on my hands, I'm going to hype up the dynasty and NCAA 11 by doing a sort of in-depth history/backstory on the team to get folks interested. It will lead up to rosters, schedule, and then that glorious first game.
My question is this: Will hyping up a dynasty with detailed story writing and backstory work until NCAA 11 comes out? Will anyone read this is a few weeks?
Please post any and all feedback here. I want to see how this idea works.
Thanks in advance and look out for "Building A Powerhouse, Again: Alabama Tech Football" coming to a thread near you soon.
