Raiders owner Al Davis has made a decision to sell the Raiders organization to former division 2 football coach and multimillionaire, Dale Johansen. Davis spoke to the press about his decision. "I believe that it was time for the Oakland Raiders organization to come to an end. We have not seen any significant success ever since losing the super bowl in 2002. I spoke to Dale about his plans and he has desire to start a new NFL franchise to replace the Raiders. I am sorry to an Raider fans that have been hurt because of this decision, but it was something that just had to be done. It has been an honor to be part of this organization over the years." Not only was the entire NFL in shock, but Johansen was also in shock. Johansen also spoke to the press about the future. "My life long dream has been to be a success in the NFL. Now, I have the opportunity to do that. Not only will I be an owner in the NFL, I will be an owner of an NFL team that I have created. I have decided on the name and the city of the new NFL team. It is time for a new beginning, of the San Antonio Mustangs.
