Rosters = Authentic or Fantasy ?.

    Hey guys.

I was thinking about starting up a new MLB 2K10 or NHL 10 dynasty to post/share with you all here at OS, but a question or way to go about playing the dynasty came up...

...what are your thoughts on a dynasty's rosters?.

Should they be 100% authentic and realistic, or are you okay with "fantasy" trades and player movement, etc. ?.

Because I hate to admit it, but I love to mix and match my rosters while creating a team that's "my own." I mean, I won't go nuts and have a complete all-star team out here, but just having certain players/player styles that I personally like to use. It's kind of like not enjoying being "stuck" with the default/real-world rosters.

But as you can tell by my "admitting", it almost feels unauthentic and pretty much like cheating if I go ahead with the fantasy roster changes.

But enough out of me... what do you think ?.

I personally like default rosters/updated rosters but if it is a fantasy draft or something I like those because then everyone is a contender. I never can make my own team with players I like because I tend to lean more towards overalls then style but this is just me. If you present your dynasty well I'm sure it won't be hard to get followers.

I like to start the season with dead on accurate rosters and draft classes, then let the computer do trades and signings during the season. It kind of add to the excitement of it for me. But I usually have one franchise set up for sim results, then one for the "fantasy" results.
